以存在的自性而安住,以命等风的作业的自性而安住,以诸界中生起天之相的自性而安住,以日、月、火的死兆的自性而安住,以业的异熟于六道中出生的自性而安住,以脉等星的足肢解的自性而安住,以入于中脉的喜乐等欺骗死兆之死的自性而安住,以外界世间事业成办的自性而安住,以随念一切见而完全观察的自性而安住,以随顺种种有情之欲而善立法的自性而安住,此名为内之品。之后于灌顶品中,首先以完全观察上师的自性而安住,以完全观察并摄集上、中、下等的弟子的自性而安住,于成办种种事业,以村落等方位的分位及地等相的自性而安住,以灶及护摩的物品及念珠及座垫及橛及瓶及彩粉及墨线及坛城安立之相的自性而安住,以完全摄取地及绘画坛城及彼等十完全了知的自性而安住,以施与世间及出世间灌顶的自性而安住,以一切皆善安住的三摩地的自性而安住,以誓言轮集会及誓言供养的自性而安住,三十六族之天女的手印及姿势及相及誓言之表示,及以族等的自性而安住,以祈请坛城轮降临的自性而安住,以大河等及各自家中祈请彩粉及会供轮降临而供养的自性而安住,以令一切圆满具德上师欢喜的自性而安住,此名为灌顶品。

It abides in the nature of being, it abides in the nature of the activity of the winds such as life, it abides in the nature of the signs of the gods arising from the elements, it abides in the nature of the omens of death of the sun, moon, and fire, it abides in the nature of being born into the six realms by the ripening of karma, it abides in the nature of the limbs of the stars such as the veins being severed, it abides in the nature of deceiving the death of omens by the joys and so on that enter the central channel, it abides in the nature of accomplishing external worldly activities, it abides in the nature of thoroughly examining all views by following after them, it abides in the nature of thoroughly establishing the Dharma in accordance with the desires of various sentient beings, this is called the inner chapter. Then, in the chapter on empowerment, first, it abides in the nature of thoroughly examining the lama, it abides in the nature of thoroughly examining and gathering the best, middling, and lowest disciples, it abides in the nature of the aspects of the directions such as villages and the characteristics of the earth and so on for accomplishing various activities, it abides in the nature of the characteristics of setting up the hearth, the substances for the fire offering, the rosary, the seat, the stake, the vase, the colored powders, the ink lines, and the mandala, it abides in the nature of completely taking the ground, drawing the mandala, and completely knowing those ten, it abides in the nature of bestowing worldly and transcendental empowerments, it abides in the nature of the samadhi in which all are well established, it abides in the nature of the gathering of the circle of vows and the offering of vows, the mudras, postures, signs, and symbolic gestures of the vows of the goddesses of the thirty-six families, and it abides in the nature of the families and so on, it abides in the nature of inviting the circle of the mandala to descend, it abides in the nature of inviting the colored powders and the feast circle to descend and making offerings in great rivers and so on and in one's own home, it abides in the nature of pleasing all the glorious lamas who are in need, this is called the chapter on empowerment.

Then comes the chapter on sadhana, beginning with abiding in the nature of delighting the Tathagatas from the light rays of the seed syllables on the moon in one's own heart, such as the protective wheel and purifying the face; offering the unsurpassed, confessing sins, rejoicing in merit; taking refuge in the Three Jewels and impoverishing oneself; generating the mind of enlightenment, relying on the path, and abiding in the nature of emptiness, etc.; in the generation stage, abiding in the nature of sadhana such as the supreme mandala, the supreme karma, the yoga of bindus, and the subtle yoga; abiding in the nature of sadhana for the worldly attainments of outsiders; abiding in the nature of sadhana such as offerings and sacrifices, the secret reality of the limits of vidya-mantras, and the six-limbed yoga; abiding in the nature of the accumulation of merit such as generosity; abiding in the nature of meditating on the manifest and hidden mind, this is called the chapter on sadhana.
