If empty dates and Fridays become obstacles, then the fourth one will die. If the full moon day together with Saturn becomes an obstacle, then the fifth one will surely die. 95 For the sun, the appearance of joy will turn into wounds, and torment is itself affliction. For the moon, the appearance of goodness will surely lead to war and disease. The results of the five true appearances will cause harm to the inferior through the combination of death. For disease, war, traveling to other lands, and marriage, one should understand the results of auspiciousness and inauspiciousness. 96 Thus, constellations, planets, vowels, combinations, and dates are all distinguished by the fivefold classification. Directions, the movement of months, years, and sixty-year cycles will also appear here. For black and so on, the distinction of directions will be revealed here through the twelve branches. Day and night and vowels will appear through seventy-two, which is the distinction of months. 97 Years are calculated by the branches of the six-month movement, and the twelve years including Rabjung (sexagenary cycle). Thus, the five vowels will also appear here, which is the disappearance from back to front. For the first, the vowels are like a child's age, merit, and power, for the second, they are like a glorious youth. Adulthood and old age correspond to fire, water, treasure, and day and night, and the fifth will disappear. 98 Whatever five vowels such as A, etc., are surely transformed by merit, they are all thirty in number. For the letters of the Ka group, etc., one should completely combine them through the power of nature and merit. Short vowels will also appear here on the white side, which is through the fivefold classification. Long vowels will surely appear on the black side, which is through the combination of stretching and contracting. 99 The twenty-seven constellations clearly show the arrow's hour, the sun's moment combined with nine parts. The moment of Aries combining and so on, these also have three natures, namely stability, movement, and extreme balance. Initially, the thirty vowels appear here, moment by moment. The thirty letters of the divisions greatly transform into hours, clearly distinguishing between short and long. In the middle of the month, it is said to appear in the divisions of the lunar days, and their disappearance is also the same. 101. Space, wind, fire, water, and earth are all types of the five vowels, such as A. Rahu, Mars, Moon, Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Ketu, and Saturn are added here. As previously stated, for each time combination, the hours are accomplished by the power of day and night. In the middle of it, the planet where any vowel appears is called the powerful one, and it accomplishes the mandala. 102. From the left, the short vowels appear here, and from the right, there are others. On the left, there are space and so on, and all the moving planets, such as Rahu. On the right, there are those holding and so on, and the group of planets is definitely the son of the Sun and so on. Outside, the vast hours of time, equal to the position of the planets, along with the vowels, are to be accomplished. 103. If asked, one will die for the sake of war when the time of the empty space arises. In the wind, one will be defeated by the Sun, and in the fire, when Mars arises, one will be wounded. In water and Jupiter, there will be reconciliation, and in earth, when Saturn arises, there will be no conflict. Death, affliction, becoming wounded, happiness, and equality are for those who inquire and the sick. 104. In war, the enemy will definitely be greatly weakened if Rahu appears in the empty space. In wind and Moon, there will be defeat, and in war, there will be wounds when Mercury appears in the fire. In water, Jupiter will gain benefits, and in earth, when Ketu appears, the enemy will also be subdued. Likewise, for the procession of brides and so on, on the left path, the planets will become virtuous results. 105. The vowels spoken by the messenger, whatever is determined, multiply by ten and mix with the wheel of the houses. Again, multiply them by the elements, and with the close person, the remainder of the seven parts.
