Mind One. In great bliss, it constantly abides, This itself is great wisdom, All discriminations are completely abandoned, The manner of two and non-two, The essence of being and non-being is supreme, Skillful means and wisdom are utterly blended, Attachment and detachment are completely blended, This itself is the life of all beings, This itself is the sacred letter, Firm and moving, pervading and abiding, It is desired to be an illusory form, By the means of the mandala wheel, It constantly and decisively goes forth, Or it is the nature of all things, Or it is completely abandoned by all, This also initially shows detachment from joy, The three joys are all abandoned, This wisdom is extremely subtle, Like the realm of vajra space, Peaceful liberation desires to generate attachment, You are also the father of that. Thus it is. The characteristic of a mind that is utterly pure, the essence of the Dharmadhatu, is called the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. The Fourth Empowerment. Moreover, if these two empowerments lack suchness, then they are joined by the companion who is summoned through practice. Here it is said thus: The teacher is secret wisdom, and the fourth is also the same. Through the sequence of joys and so forth, these four are known to be bestowed in number. Thus it is. How then is it also the fourth empowerment? In the Hevajra Tantra, it is said that there are three kinds of empowerment, and the fourth is also the same. That which is other than the third is the rosary and water, and so forth. The limit of empowerment is spoken of as being gathered together by treatises such as the gathering together of suchness. If, in this way, the four kinds of empowerment are spoken of in the chapter of the vajra family, it will transform as desired. Thus, the four kinds of empowerment are joined in faith, manifest from wisdom and knowledge. Likewise, the teacher is considered to be purified by laughter, and the view is likewise secret. Embracing with the hands is wisdom, and that is also two and two there. Thus it is. The meaning of this is that whatever joy and so forth arise together with wisdom, that body of offering to all the Tathagatas, because of the teacher, that is the empowerment of the teacher. Whatever joy is born with wisdom and gazes upon the lotus, that is the empowerment of secrecy because it relies on secrecy. Whatever embraces wisdom and relies on wisdom,

And because of having given, it is the empowerment of wisdom. From where does that which comes again through the union of two, the common and supreme suchness, together with near symbolism, the non-dual wisdom, that is considered the fourth empowerment. Others consider it separately in this way, saying that in the first chapter it says "everything is four," because it is said that way. Some consider manifestation to be the union of unwavering faith and understanding, therefore, from the empowerment of mind itself, through the distinction of two ways, it should be shown as the fourth empowerment. Similarly, the characteristic of merging into the limbs of wisdom and relying on the great bliss that arises simultaneously, because it relies on the wisdom of wisdom, it is called the empowerment of wisdom and wisdom. This union of great bliss arising simultaneously with the mind of equanimity, this is similar to this vow, and this should also be practiced, that is, the union of the holy and simultaneous birth. On this, all the great scholars, the glorious Śāntarakṣita and Ratnākaraśānti, have clearly explained this. The union of the holy and simultaneous birth. In the commentary on the union of the holy and simultaneous union, called "Simultaneous Beauty," the author himself has also truly explained the meaning of self-empowerment, but here it has not been elaborated for fear of the text being cumbersome. All of these should also be declared to the disciple by the abiding (guru) at the time of the wisdom and wisdom empowerment. The characteristic of body, speech, and mind being completely pure, the nature of great bliss, is called the fourth empowerment. The three manifest empowerments as spoken of, should not be given to Śrāvakas, kings, heretics, empty talkers, the ignorant, eunuchs, the elderly, one's own son, and those without faith. Furthermore, the manifest empowerments of rosaries and rituals, etc., should not be done merely with words to anyone. This is the ritual of empowerment. The Ritual of Abiding The Dharma and the Thus-Gone One, scriptures, vajra, bell, and abiding equally with the realm of space, following after it. This ultimate protector is not known by worldly people, therefore, in order to benefit the world, abiding is performed. Body images, stupas, temples, excellent
