Dwelling closely in purity is the door to enlightenment. How is it so? It is said that form is eliminated, feeling is not different, perception is also the same, and consciousness is also the same. However, like illusions, like dreams, like cities of gandharvas, the doors appear vividly. Likewise, form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are accomplished. All phenomena are also the same, and consciousness is also momentary. How is it so? If analyzed, it is unbearable. What is meant by "if analyzed"? It means that consciousness is accomplished by those phenomena, and it is truly said that those are momentary and without essence. Therefore, consciousness is also momentary. How is it so? By analyzing all phenomena, such as vases made of gold and other phenomena. The absence of their qualities is like the absence of substance. Thus, when all phenomena are absent, consciousness is also absent. Therefore, consciousness is also momentary. How does the object of grasping become without substance? It is because there is no grasper. Thus, if there is no object of grasping and no grasper, there is no grasping. Furthermore, how can grasping abide by focusing on the object of grasping, and if those are absent, there is no grasping. The remaining form is not known other than as the purity that generates the great door. The four doors thus formed should be contemplated. It is the nature of momentary emanations. The four right abandonments are remembered as the four reins of a horse, which are the antidote to sins that have not arisen, the cutting off of sins that have arisen, the generation of virtues that have not arisen, and the complete dedication of virtues that have arisen to enlightenment, which are the antidote, the cutting off, the generation, and the dedication. What is the antidote to what? It is the antidote to afflictions such as desire. When they have not arisen, if afflictions are about to arise, then harming them is the antidote. When afflictions such as desire have already arisen, this is cultivated to diminish them, which is for the sake of cutting them off. Therefore, after those have diminished, these do not

Therefore, the state of being without afflictions arises. That which arises, the very desire to share it with all sentient beings, is called complete dedication. The four right abandonments are completely purified, which are the resting places for the horse. The four legs of miraculous power are completely purified, which are the four platforms: faith, diligence, investigation, and mind. Faith is extreme reverence for what is thought. Similarly, diligence is the unceasing, extreme desire for manifestation. Investigating without interruption is investigation. Investigation is also called investigating oneself and others by its very nature. The arising of the mind's own form is the ultimate of mind. Therefore, the ultimate of mind is to actually practice it. Thus, the complete purification of the four legs of miraculous power is the four platforms. Generating miraculous power means that its emanation is completely pure, which is the aspect of complete purity. With its expanding and contracting body, miraculous power is displayed as desired. Actually practicing this aspect is generation. Therefore, there is no other way to enter the aspect of the vajra nature. The five faculties are the four sides and the vajra line, which are the faculty of faith, the faculty of mindfulness, the faculty of diligence, the faculty of samadhi, and the faculty of wisdom. First, taking manifest trust as the proximate cause, it is called by the name of faith because of extreme reverence. Knowing oneself, entering from the second, abandoning other regressions, those with the karma of samsara, having obtained it in samsara, enter, which is entering, called by the name of faith. Day and night, practicing yoga without interruption, the third, self-grasping, the mind merely enters, arising without any fabrication, that is called by the name of the faculty of mindfulness. One-pointedness of mind is the fourth, in terms of the peak, it is the true path, being one with it is the one-pointedness of mind, called by the name of the faculty of samadhi. By the name of Urasa, it is another name. The vajra lines are the five lines and the fence.
