That which is called "going underground" means that one should take those born in the twenty-four places. The yogi, from among them, whichever lineage goddess he desires. "Whichever lineage goddess he desires" means accomplishing whichever one he desires among those born together, born from mantras, and born from fields. By the means of an iron hook and a lasso, having drawn them near and gathered them. "By the means of an iron hook and a lasso" means that the means of reversing the wind upwards is the iron hook, and pulling the two winds to the left and right is the lasso. Drawing them near means reversing the mind of enlightenment and effortlessly bestowing whatever worldly, common, and supreme accomplishments are needed, as well as the bliss of meditative absorption that is liberation from old age and sickness, and one will be liberated from the discriminations of the three realms. Having thus explained the conduct of overcoming the side of the path of attachment, now explaining the victory from the side of the path of liberation: Having given the body as alms, one should then begin conduct from the outside. Thus it is said, meaning that after generating a mind without attachment to the body, as a sign of non-attachment, one should obtain the five signs of calm abiding, such as smoke and mirages, and the eight signs of insight, such as a lamp. After that, one should begin conduct. Because of distinguishing between those with and without fortune, therefore one should not abandon. "Because of distinguishing between those with and without fortune, therefore one should not abandon" means that for those without fortune and who have not received empowerment, one should not show the oral instructions on how to meditate on the completion stage. However, for those with fortune who have received empowerment, wisdom, and knowledge, one must show the meaning experienced in meditating on the completion stage, therefore it is said that one should not abandon. Therefore, conduct will also turn into benefiting others, which is the concluding remark. When food and feasts arise, one should eat whatever is obtained. "When food and feasts arise, one should eat whatever is obtained" means that one should eat the non-discrimination that overcomes the discrimination of acceptance and rejection. One should not be particularly attached to the discrimination of desire and non-desire. "One should not be particularly attached to the discrimination of desire and non-desire" means that one should train in the five desirable qualities without acceptance or rejection, which is the concluding remark. One is liberated by the precepts, rituals, and purity of taste. "One is liberated by the precepts, rituals, and purity of taste" means that the precepts are the precepts of the monastic vows of the Hearers and Bodhisattvas. Having obtained the first wave of one's own wisdom and knowledge, bliss and emptiness.
