Joy arises in the exalted state. The essence is the desire for happiness. Because it is free from attachment, in the realm free from effort, special joy arises. This is the near manifestation of the view of great bliss. I have explained that happiness, which is the state of the essence of extreme seeking. The boundary that is separate from the conceptualization of holding happiness as the essence of attachment, as stated in the Second Examination: "Third, because of the decline of desire." Thus. Fourth, co-emergent, called co-emergent joy. The nature of conventional bodhicitta, its own nature is emptiness, is the experience of great bliss, without conceptualization. Therefore, having abandoned the attachment to happiness, and being free from the opposite manifestation of clinging. It is said there: "Apart from the three that are devoid of characteristics, attachment and non-attachment are all abandoned." Thus. If asked: Is this the path of seeing? It is not so. Because it is obtained from the difference of means, and from the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the blessings of the Guru. If it can be obtained by its own nature, then it is so. Therefore, it is said that there are only two breaths: the wisdom of great bliss and emptiness, because of its nature, mutually increasing, because of its immovability and the essence of Vajradhara, it will undoubtedly become Tathagata and Vajradhara. In order to obtain that path, it is the cause of generating the breath of the Tathagata and the breath of the Vajradhara. As it is said: "By the difference between means and means, the meaning of the fourth is allowed to be two kinds. One is the accomplishment of the Tathagata. The other is allowed to be Vajradhara." Thus. If so, after co-emergence, there should be special joy. As it is said in the Second Examination: "The nature of co-emergent joy, the supreme limit, has the first of special joy." Is it so? No. What is the first of the supreme limit special joy? After the supreme is special joy, and after that is co-emergent, which is due to the power of meaning. What is the first of the supreme limit and special joy? The supreme and special joy of

It is inappropriate to explain "between" as meaning, it should first symbolize the special joy. As the teaching says, "Abandoning the three joys." This is both the special joy and the first joy, so through the phrase "also the first," it can be determined that only at the moment of special joy does the co-emergent joy appear, and only the first co-emergent joy should be symbolized. Because when the co-emergent joy arises, all discriminations cease, how can it be symbolized? Therefore, in the *Wisdom Vajra Compendium Great Yoga Tantra* and in the *Five Stages*, it is said: "Among all illusions, the illusion of women is especially superior, in this the three wisdoms are clearly symbolized." This and in the *Five Stages*: "Appearance is the part of the night, the day with bright sunlight, the appearance of the day increases. The boundary is obtaining appearance, nature itself combines many times. Not night, nor boundary, nor day, unchanging devoid of nature. This is enlightenment in an instant, spoken by the Victorious One, only yogis can realize." These also explain that three joys are symbolized, and the fourth is not symbolized. The Blessed One also said: "Other than the three devoid of characteristics." Therefore, how can special joy arise after co-emergent joy? Because it cannot be symbolized at all. If it is symbolized only by the recitation after the special joy, then the method of experiencing will not be indicated. In the place where co-emergent joy arises, there is only non-inverted realization. Then, why symbolize what has not been experienced first? No, it is like the boundary at dawn. Then, even so, it is only that its essence is not closely symbolized, is it? Yes, the method of experiencing should be indicated in this way. Then, that should not become a method either, because from then on, this attachment to clearly symbolizing it is impossible, is it? Yes, if that were the case. There, when that happens, what should be done, the lamas will say that. Therefore, for both desires, the order of symbolizing has been clearly explained.

The ultimate reality should also be shown in this way. In this regard, "Supreme Limit, Excellent Joy, First One." Here, the limit of the supreme is the supreme limit. That whose first is excellent joy is the one with excellent joy as the first. It means that the supreme and excellent joy are the limits of speech. If one asks, what is that ultimate reality like? "Without beginning, without end, and without middle, without craving, without cessation, and without death, this is supremely great bliss, not other, and not self." This means that by negating the beginning, the end, and the middle, that is, by negating birth, destruction, and abiding, all phenomena are only emptiness. Here, it is of one taste with great bliss. It should be realized through this method. This is the meaning of the answer. By negating joy, excellent joy, and supreme joy, because of its immutability, it does not abide in existence or peace. Co-emergent joy is the ultimate reality. This is also possible. Similarly, "Supreme Limit, Middle, Excellent Joy, Empty and Not Empty, Heruka." Here, what is the limit of supreme joy that is the middle is excellent joy. Because there is no interruption in between, it should be represented as having a connection. Because it is devoid of its own nature, it is emptiness. Likewise, because it is inexpressible, it is non-emptiness. Because it is free from duality, it abides in the nature of great bliss.
