And having obtained non-contrivance, even rising from what has been obtained, one does not enter into wrong speech, etc., but also enters into right speech, etc. Therefore, applying reason to what has reason is the eightfold path itself; otherwise, it contradicts entering the path evenly. This noble eightfold path is also briefly taught in the sutras as practicing pure conduct because it is beneficial for Brahma's nirvana. Here, right view remains, and the rest revolve. Among them, right view, right thought, and right effort are the aggregates of wisdom. Right speech, right action, and right livelihood are the aggregates of ethics. Right mindfulness and right concentration are the aggregates of concentration. Among them, right view is, before the time of the limb of enlightenment, following the realization of the true nature of all phenomena as selfless, and is the nature of turning away from covetousness, harmful thoughts, and wrong views. Right thought is abiding in the aspect of that very realization, abandoning what should be abandoned and what should be taken, making effort to abandon and manifest, and thinking only of virtue. Right speech is understanding the meaning as it is, and is the nature of turning away from false speech, slander, harsh words, and idle chatter. Right action is the action of body, speech, and mind, above which there is nothing else, namely, killing, taking what is not given, and sexual misconduct, which are called evil deeds of the body, and is the nature of turning away from doing, causing to do, and rejoicing. Right livelihood is living by means of wealth accumulated according to reason, and is because of turning away from wrong livelihood such as hypocrisy and flattery. Right effort is diligence, which is joy connected with the perfection of one's own and others' benefit. Right mindfulness is not forgetting the Dharma as it has been realized, and is also manifesting the object and aspect of right enlightenment. Right concentration is the one-pointedness of mind on what is to be meditated upon. Among them, right view is what completely cuts off the path of seeing. Making others understand.

That is, right thought and right speech, because it is understood by the speech that arises from right motivation. Furthermore, the limbs that make one believe are three: right speech, the boundary of action, and livelihood. Through these, trust is generated in the three in order, that is, through the clear understanding of speech related to speech, thereby obtaining wisdom. Not doing what should not be done, thereby obtaining discipline. Seeking the means of livelihood only through the Dharma, thereby reducing the means. The limbs of the antidote to the unfavorable side are three: right effort, mindfulness, and samadhi. These antidotes are, in order, what should be abandoned by cultivating the antidote to afflictions, and the near afflictions, that is, the freedom of sinking and agitation, the unfavorable side, is the antidote to the obstacles to achieving excellent qualities, this is the summarized meaning. The extensive explanation of this has been proclaimed, that is, "What is it in that?" etc., the so-called "transcendental" means that it should arise in the path of transcendental cultivation. View is superimposition, that is, "I am permanent, pervasive lord, the one who transmigrates, the one who liberates," etc., which are superimposed by other debaters. The self alone, that is, the differences established on each view, are the objects of expression of terms such as mind. Thus, after establishing the realization of the selflessness of the person, in order to proclaim the knowledge of the selflessness of phenomena, it is said, "Not annihilation," etc. Permanent means that in any desire, consciousness, etc., also has its own nature in an instant, because without it, it becomes annihilation in the second instant. As stated in the Root Verses of the Middle Way: "To view 'is' is to view permanence, to view 'is not' is to view annihilation, why is there self-nature? That which is not is not permanent. What existed before and does not exist now, that is the very entrance to annihilation." Because of arising and birth, it is existence, that is, consciousness, etc. Cessation is destruction. The arising and ceasing of these, also with the reason that has been determined in the Ear of the Middle Way, are those that do not exist in the ultimate sense, thus superimposing the self. Evil is good, liberation is the cessation of all near harm.
