That is to say, whatever is not accomplished by cultivating the mind of enlightenment, there is not even a little of it, that is his thought. Whatever I have said about meditating on the generation stage and so on, this is the dance of the Buddha Vajrasattva, solely for the benefit of those who are small-minded and beginners, in order to make them follow. That is, through various forms of incarnation, showing various ornaments and decorations, as well as good postures and layouts, from one to many, from many to one. The true form of appearing and not appearing, and the dance of Buddhas such as Vairochana and their retinues. In order to enable each of the tamed to attain liberation separately, this is the dance of various and inconceivable wonderful incarnations. For beginners, by accumulating merit, those who are of great wisdom, and those who have attained worldly fruits and have great joy, are very respectful in practicing the completion stage. However, for those who cannot understand such necessity and are of low intelligence, these should not be considered at first, because they hear that everything can be accomplished only through the practice of the completion stage, but they will regress even more than the generation stage. Therefore, for these people, it should be shown a little that the practice of the generation stage is the ultimate meaning. As it is said, when thinking about the knowledge of things as cause and effect, it will not regress, that is the meaning. Therefore, the completion stage also depends on the maturity of wisdom, so the generation stage should be practiced first, this is the teaching. Meditation is the seed syllable and mudra, etc., from which arises the deity yoga. The mantra to be recited is the syllable Om, etc. The order of these rituals will be explained. The emanation of the mind, this sentence clearly states that all of this should be regarded only as the nature of the mind of enlightenment itself. Because here, everything is Vairochana and so on.

The five kinds of severance are all included within them, and these are solely the nature of Vajradhara Bodhicitta. The so-called "Emptiness Vajra" is the Vajra of emptiness. Thus it is said: The Bhagavan Vajrasattva himself, the very essence of wisdom and skillful means, is the nature of desire and so forth, appearing in the conventional form of the five Tathagatas and consorts, in order to purify the minds of sentient beings in the realm of those who completely abandon afflictions. Those fortunate disciples who enter the path of such transformation, although they unite with Suchness and have no conceptualization, they certainly abide in this way. As it is said in the Vajra Tent of the Dakini: Hatred, pride, and delusion, as well as desire and stinginess, arise. For the purpose of gathering, Vajradhara himself manifests various forms in samsara and nirvana. Whatever thing it is that connects people's minds to it, it will become the nature of that thing, like a jewel with various forms. Therefore, one should strive in every way to unite the mind with the Vajra. When the mind is pure, it becomes happy and destroys all the poisons of affliction. Thus it is said. Aryadeva also said: In the concise practice that is taught, the great lineage of the five Buddhas, arising from their respective lineages, the deities have various forms: male messengers, female messengers, wrathful ones, male servants, female servants, and whatever else needs to be done. These males and females are not truly existent, but are shown separately for the benefit of sentient beings. The yogi should, by himself, display and gather all of this. Abiding in illusion-like samadhi, the mandala and so forth are also extremely vast. Thus it is said. Great joy, great bliss. Or rather, being exceedingly delighted in the affairs of others. Therefore, he is the excellent chief. The letters and forms of the generation stage, the letters of the generation stage are unchanging, while the forms are blue and so forth. The so-called "first" is the first in relation to compassion and so forth, because from the power of love, without effort, compassion and so forth naturally arise, for this purpose. That which is to be meditated on first of all is: first, taste is to be meditated on.
