It is not the case that the wisdom of the omniscient one would become the very substance. For they have awakened to complete enlightenment because they are included within all dharmas and are without self-nature. As it is said in the Holy Perfection of Wisdom, "The wisdom of the omniscient one is of the nature of direct perception, and the Tathagatas have awakened to complete enlightenment, saying it is without characteristics." This is inferred by following its supremely great teaching. For those things that are seen and unseen, whatever treatises are established by reasoning and are without harm by their own words, are to be accepted, or the meaning that is ascertained by those who see the other shore, even by scripture. This is the meaning to be understood by the force of the tone of the basis of discussion. If, as in the other case, it is harmed, then it is not correct, and since there is no establisher, it is uncertain, how could it be the basis of discussion? This is also not the realm of lions and plunderers who are manifestly attached to views such as the inverted self, and the essence of the dbyig. It is also the realm of those who have abandoned the obscurations of affliction by manifestly realizing the selflessness of the Hearer individual, because they have all the obscurations of knowledge. It is also the realm of the solitary Buddhas, because they have one aspect of the obscurations of knowledge. Therefore, this is the great secret. Explaining the true union is said to be the nature of wisdom and means, wisdom is emptiness, and also its wisdom, because it is of the nature of emptiness and one taste. Means is the great compassion without object, doing the benefit of beings, is the nature of the great bliss born together. Whatever is the nature of those wisdom and means that have become non-dual, that is what it is said, true union is the essence of union. As it is said in the later Compendium, "Wisdom and means enter into equality, it is manifestly expressed as yoga. Whatever is without self-nature is wisdom, means is the characteristic of things." What is called supreme arising is manifestly knowing by becoming supreme from among the Hearers and so forth.

The nature of the qualities and fruits, etc., arises and is born from this, therefore it is supreme. Being a hermaphrodite is for the sake of learning itself. This clearly elucidates the topic itself. It is for that very reason that it is said, "Correctly joining," and so forth. Qualities are correctly and completely grasped by this. "Completely expanding" refers to samadhi, which is non-conceptual. However, by eliminating all distractions through meditation, thereby entering into samadhi, this will become supreme. To evenly place the mind is to know what is truly as it is, and following that, its qualities will transform, clarifying by uttering the sound of samadhi. It is for that very reason that it will be said to be a characteristic, for it is only to be symbolized through samadhi. It is for that very reason that it is said, "The meaning of," etc., which is the meaning of emphasizing. "Arising" speaks of the meaning of being born, but arising is not the end of the causes of things, for "only it arises" is because of the common basis. Or, only that is supreme, correctly joining is supreme because it is free from sudden defilements from samadhi, that is, arising as the nature of the fruit, Vajradhara. Supreme arising, that is, for the agent, it is Aca. "Having become like that" is distinguished by the distinctions that have already been explained. Steadfastness refers to the nature of the container world, such as mountains, rivers, oceans, earth, and wind. Movement refers to sentient beings. "Arising from the collection of causes and conditions" refers to things, their nature, that is, the original essence, whatever is the nature of that, that is, its own essence, that is its nature, because there is no other nature of steadfast and moving things. Steadfastness and so forth are to be understood even by children, but its nature is not to be understood, this is because of not being accustomed to the aspect of Suchness. Therefore it is said, "This should be symbolized and made manifest," this is because it should be meditated upon.
