Vajradhara is Vajrasattva. Because it is similar to a lotus (Tibetan: པདྨ་དང་འདྲ་བས་པདྨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: padma, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: padma, literal Chinese meaning: lotus), the lotus is Vairochana, just as a lotus is not harmed by the faults of water, so too, it is not harmed by the faults of samsara. The intention here, which clarifies the unobstructed nature of all Tathagatas, is to diligently show closeness. The one who holds the lotus is Amitabha. Because he possesses jewels, he is a jewel, that is, Ratnasambhava. The one who holds the jewel is Amoghasiddhi, because he holds the jewel sword. The meaning is that the yogi who perfects himself by having any of the forms of Vajradhara, etc., completely surrounded by dakinis in their respective forms. Thus, this also clearly shows the wisdom mudra, so it is said. Thus, after teaching the tantra of means, the mind of enlightenment, which becomes the cause of the unsurpassed cause, is taught, that is, from then on, without interruption until everything is fully revealed. Everything refers to the nature of outer and inner, etc. Thus, it is said that the five aggregates that go together with the subtle parts of the two obscurations, where they are completely suppressed and made emptiness. That is also true, and precisely because of that, because it is free from habitual tendencies, it is also free from dust. Because it is similar to dust, it is called dust. It also abides in the basis of the ultimate perfection of self and other benefit, and having entered into the samadhi called such, without clinging to grasping and apprehending the mind of enlightenment, being of one taste with emptiness, the nature of body, speech, and mind, which are mutually non-different, is extensively shown, meaning that having truly entered into that samadhi as it is, the nature of the supreme state of union with the great mudra, the self-nature of the cause Vajradhara, is spoken of. Emptiness is not the nature of imputation, because it clearly appears separately in conventional truth. Non-emptiness is because it is without self-nature in ultimate truth. The ultimate truth is not that the extremely clear body does not exist, and other than that, grasping, etc.
