Etc., are the places where offerings of torma are given, as spoken. The Black Fierce One is Indra. The Fierce Great One is the evil body. The goddess is given by the gods, namely the water goddess. The Black One is Yama. The Skull-bearer is the Great Ishvara. The Ugly One is the fire god. The one who has transcended joy is the unreal. The Misleader is the wind god. The moon and the sun, and Brahma, and the weaver, the copper-colored one, and the earth gods, etc., are not spoken of here, but those spoken of in other tantras should also be known, along with their retinues. Therein, is the pervasive influence of Indra. The misleading of the Fierce Great One. The planets and constellations, etc., of the moon and the sun. The nagas of the earth. In the ten directions, also, are the countless beings who are the retinues of the lords of those directions. The five dakinis are the Wisdom Dakini, the Vajra Dakini, the Fierce Woman, the Corpse-raising Woman, and the Wrathful Woman. The Great, utterly pure Dharmadhatu wisdom, etc., those whose suchness is that, are thus. All the actions of those are accomplished by the yogi in accordance with the thoughts of the beings to be tamed. In the yoga mandala, it is the pulsation of the heart essence. The great queens are the lioness, the tigress, the jackal, and the owl. The Vajra自在mothers are the dakini, the illuminator, the sound maker, and the Kamboja. The chief ones are the guardians of the directions, the Black Fierce One, etc., this is the order. In the mandala of Vajrasattva, the five dakinis are Vajra Proud Woman, Eye Woman, Mamaki, White Woman, and Tara. The retinue consists of the wheels of mind, speech, and body. Among these, the great queens are the extremely wrathful mothers and so on. The Vajra Ishvaris are the crow-faced mothers and so on. In the mandala of Heruka, the five dakinis are the Anatma Mother and Gauri and so on. Those alone whose great essence is, that is the great essence, namely Hevajra. The mandalas of union are the mandalas of peace and so on. In these mandalas, the great queens are the four, Pukkasi and so on. The Vajra Ishvaris are the horse-faced mothers and so on, which abide in four kinds of meanings. All the deities should be known as the body of the Tathagata, the nature of the great essence. From where faults arise, what necessarily arises from desire and so on is faultless, namely the samadhi of emptiness and compassion inseparable, that is, those arising from that. 'This' means by this. Vajra Ishvari is the Wisdom Dakini or Vajra Prideful Mother or Vajra Varahi or Anatma Mother. Her command is Om Kakka and so on. Through that, may all the wheels of the wisdom deities completely come here, from all places may they become of one taste together with the wheel of samaya. After that, thinking of it as nectar, after the wheel of the Wisdom Dakinis is satisfied, with the mantra Om Tishta and so on, the mouths of the deities should be filled with nectar. The deities of the yogi and yogini should also be contemplated as accomplishing peaceful deeds and so on, or desiring merit. In some places, it is read as 'with words for deeds and so on,' at that time, after filling the mouth with nectar, that is, intoxicant, it should be thrown out in the form of a torma, so it is said. The action of the feet, namely the dance, should be done with the vajra feet, some say. From that, all is accomplished. Some think that from the five nectars and so on, by thought, the color of the last one is taken away. The syllable Ho destroys the ordinary odor. The syllable Hrih destroys the ordinary power. The three actions are also performed by uttering these three syllables, in order as they appear, Amitabha, Vairochana, and Akshobhya, namely the three deities.
