Moreover, the four states of union are: warmth, peak, forbearance, and supreme dharma. Just as the nature of fire arises from rubbing a drill wood in sequence, the so-called path of seeing is the precursor to the fire of non-conceptual, transcendent wisdom; because it is the peak of the movement of virtuous roots; because it is the forbearance towards the supreme worldly dharma; because it is the supreme of all worldly dharmas. Here, the first two are the nature of the senses, and the latter two are the nature of power. In this way, because it becomes more and more excellent, the excellent union is the extreme union, and if there is no obstacle, the path of seeing will arise quickly. Merely relying on worldly meditation and formless meditation is the worldly path of cultivation. Decisive discernment is also a virtue that benefits the dependent, and non-discriminating discernment is decisive discernment, which is the path of seeing, and relying on it is the dependent, which is attainment. It is said that it is beneficial for that purpose. In this state, because the yogi's intention is the main thing, and because it has become the basis of merit, it is established as the ground where the defiled intention is practiced. These four bodhicittas, namely aspiration, intention, heightened intention, and the nature of union, are also born from names, conventional truth, and worldly dharmas. The higher bodhicittas above that are ultimate truth, transcendent, and uncontaminated, and because they increasingly become the basis of merit, one should observe the eleven grounds of the Extremely Joyful Ground, the Stainless Ground, the Luminous Ground, the Flaming Wisdom Ground, the Very Difficult to Conquer Ground, the Manifest Ground, the Far-Reaching Ground, the Immovable Ground, the Ground of Good Intelligence, and the Cloud of Dharma, as well as the Universally Luminous Ground. Among them, the first bodhicitta is the nature of the path of seeing, the essence of the seven limbs of enlightenment, the bodhisattva of pure heightened intention who has abandoned all afflictions, because in this beginningless cycle of existence, the suchness that has not been seen is completely achieved by seeing, which accomplishes the benefit of oneself and others.

For those worthy of offerings, such as those who have transcended suffering, offerings are made with a mind of offering, and for other beings, giving is done with the desire to benefit the great source of their senses. Whatever completely abandons one's own benefit and accomplishes the benefit of others is giving. Such is the excellence of the perfection of giving, which has the characteristics of giving Dharma, wealth, and fearlessness. Although it can satisfy limitless beings, it is extremely joyful because it never runs out. Therefore, this is the land of great joy. The subsequent grounds all possess the nature of the Noble Eightfold Path. Among them, in order to vigorously embrace oneself and others on this ground, the mind that is free from regret and takes delight in the practice, so that afflictions do not arise, and because it turns away from the ten non-virtuous actions, or because it obtains coolness by pacifying the fire of regret in the mind, is discipline. Such is the excellence of the perfection of discipline, which has the characteristics of guarding, truly gathering all dharmas, and accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings. It is free from the defilement of broken vows, and therefore is immaculate. Here, one is indifferent to the harm done by others, endures suffering, and constantly contemplates the Dharma. From the classification of patience, with the characteristics of three kinds of endurance, the excellence of the perfection of patience is such that one is not disturbed by all unpleasant things that befall one, and therefore, relying on undiminished samadhi, one manifests great Dharma, and therefore can radiate light. Here, the stream of virtuous dharmas of body, speech, and mind continues uninterruptedly, is closely connected with the benefit of sentient beings, and can purify the Buddha-fields. These three characteristics of diligence, with the excellence of the perfection of diligence, burn the firewood of all directions of enlightenment, and therefore, the rays of wisdom arise, and therefore it can radiate light. Here, for all dharmas, because there is no decrease or increase, one can dispel faults, and the three kinds of meditative absorption that have the characteristics of abiding and being rich are the perfections of meditative absorption.
