It should be done in this way. Therefore, for those who are particularly inclined only to the external mudras of the wisdom nature that has become like this, the suchness of great bliss, which is the emptiness and the same taste of the Tathagata family of the Bhagavan, should be relied upon by those who desire wisdom, as it is said that one should rely upon it. Having accomplished the deity of the complete essence, the practice of mantra is taught, such as recitation and so on. The vowels and consonants are the essence of wisdom and means, and because they are the supreme mantra, everything is its essence, therefore it is said to recite, this is the mantra without elaboration. It is also taught that mandalas and mudras are the means to realize completeness, namely the mandala. Writing is drawing, and the image of the foot on dust and mud is the drawing of the foot. The so-called "for kneading" means for kneading, for the sake of pervasive movement. This is the profound intention, and other mandalas are also set up for the Tathagata to proceed from all places. Therefore, this is also called a mandala because it is the near cause for those who see it to accumulate many merits, since it is completely generated by the complete yogi in the Tathagata nature. Moving the hand becomes a mudra, and kneading the fingers is also the same. Here, the cause is not stated, but it is shown in this way, for the yogis who have immeasurable activities. If the cause is stated for everything, it will become too cumbersome, because all of this should be realized as the nature of the mandala and mudra of the nature of wisdom and means. Then, if the object of meditation, the meditator, and the meditated upon are not reasonable to meditate upon in that way, is it not only completeness in all aspects for the thinking and contemplation that surely show the complete mandala? If you think so, then it is said: That is what is to be thought, etc. Then, if the movement of the mind is immeasurable and does not cease in this way, is it not only distraction, and not meditation, therefore it will not become what is to be thought? If you think so, then it is said: Ordinary, etc. That bliss is enjoyed by oneself.

Or is it due to being accustomed to severance? A youthful (male or female) initiate, I should thus, in the beginning, middle, and end, experience any bliss without obstruction, and this should be spoken of as meditation. Likewise, for other thoughts as well, without obstruction, remembering the great bliss that arises excellently, from what does distraction arise, so that it cannot become what is to be thought of and meditation? This is the (guru's) intention. Or, the so-called "ordinary" refers to the co-emergent great bliss that is obtained and experienced at the time of the guru's initiation, which should be enjoyed, oneself fully enjoyed, and also at other times. Or, through the union of mudras, it should be enjoyed only in that way. Through the bliss of intimate enjoyment, what will perish, so that the senses are obscured? Here, "this" refers only to the visible arising, and this bliss should be spoken of as meditation. The meditation of a perfect yogi, which is thus, is naturally accomplished, and merely by remembering it thus, one should also understand the oral instructions just spoken of. The term "thus" means completely perfect. The word "etc." indicates armor, etc. The speaker and what is to be spoken, the generation of bodhicitta and the practice of armor, etc., their suchness, that is, the non-inverted suchness, this makes it the object and makes it become the object, so it is the object, that is, completely decisive. The chapters are not different in meaning, the first is because it is the very first teaching. The extensive commentary on the Tantra of Perfect Union, the ear of oral instructions, the first ear. Second ear. The root tantra only extensively explains the completion stage. Thus, only the true bodhicitta is briefly taught as what is to be cultivated. Only this is also the excellent distinction of fruit, cause, and means, possessing the nature of the three tantras, only these are what the Bhagavan taught. As it is said: As spoken in the Vajra Tent of the Dakini: Emptiness and compassion are inseparable, wherever the mind is well cultivated, that is also the teaching of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Thus it is said. In that which is to be cultivated (bodhicitta), all the dharmas of the path to enlightenment are included, but not in what is cultivated perversely.
