Oṃ. The one who has thus gone is the Tathāgata, because the letter 'ta' has been removed. The glorious one, that is, the one who has become endowed with the two accumulations, is connected with the previous one. 'Having gone only thus' means that one goes only as one has gone, that is, for the sake of beings, one manifests in things such as the five families with the nature of skillful means and wisdom alone. With this suchness, and with the wisdom that is excellent and inseparable, that is, with the yoga of its own nature. Here, everything is primarily mind, and sentient beings who have the characteristic of the continuum of mind are also those who possess the essence of the Tathāgata with the nature of selflessness. Furthermore, all the properties of the Dharma of the Tathāgatas are the five wisdoms such as the mirror-like wisdom, and those are also completely pure by nature as the nature of the body by Dharma-nature, and when the adventitious obscurations are completely purified, those who abide in their own nature are said to be the five wisdoms, and it is only said that one obtains being a Buddha and a Bodhisattva, the former is only said to be a seed. Therefore, also because it is the seed of the Bodhisattva, it is said to be the birth family and the family lineage. If that is the case, then all the Tathāgatas have the five wisdoms such as the mirror-like wisdom, and each of them is the five families such as the mirror-like wisdom, then how are they different families? Because the birth families are different, the mirror-like wisdoms and so on of the Bodhisattvas each have a corresponding birth family that has been established since beginningless time, and the multiple corresponding birth families are the sixth, and each of the multiple corresponding sixth ones has great power, therefore, because they follow that and that family lineage, they are grouped into that and that, thus it is said, 'It is only five,' the family lineages are explained as five types. So it is said. Or it should be understood in this way, if others who are not included in the five families become a fleeting manifestation because the path is universal, that is not right, because they are included in the sentient being family. If that is the case, then the sentient being family will become the most supreme.

If asked: Is it because Vajrasattva is the lord of all? It is not so, because other deities also arise from this. Due to the distinction of excellence, they are shown to be other families. Because for those who do not have such excellence, there is no reason to show them as other families, so they are only established as sentient being families. Because the sentient being family follows this and that family, it is summarized into five families. It is said: There are five kinds of families. That is, in a broad sense, the five aggregates, the four elements, the five faculties, and the five objects, each with the nature of the five Tathagatas, or with the distinction of the nature of pacifying, increasing, loving, subduing, and diverse, and together with the five wisdoms such as mirror-like wisdom, there are a hundred kinds. If we distinguish them, they are infinite, endless, and countless. This is its meaning. The so-called three kinds, the three kinds are those who follow this and that, because they are summarized into this and that. Thus, equality wisdom is summarized into mirror-like wisdom, and accomplished activity wisdom is summarized into discriminating wisdom, which will be explained together with the reasons. Or, pride and jealousy, those with the nature of wisdom, belong to the disease of desire. Or, pride is the family of the body, because it is the basis of ignorance. Slander and jealousy are the family of hatred, or because they arise from hatred. All of these should be known as the only family of Vajrasattva. What will be said is: The families are said to be five kinds, and emptiness is the only Vajra. When gathering, it is also established as the indivisible nature of the three Vajras, such as you should generate the image of mind and body, etc. If asked: From where do they transform into other families, and what are the families of the first arising, and how should they be called families? The answer is: families, etc. The five elements or the five aggregates are the families, they are the pure nature, that is, the Buddhas.
