Vast indeed! Meditation is done with the mind. The treatises are merely teachings. Unintelligible to the wise, They serve as an entry for the unlearned, And are shown to the disciples. Those ones will go to hell. Speaking untruths in times of strife, Therefore, one should know the means. The lama is the abode of all qualities, The yogis should attend and revere. Likewise, what is not understood should be abandoned. The Dharma of the Tathagata's lineage, Will be obtained from the lama's mouth. The sequence from one to one, The path is taught in this way. One should follow the wise. That lama is equal to the Buddha. Even if inferior to a hundred treatises, The wise should not disparage him. The path resides in his throat. Enlightenment will not come from sound alone. One should abandon attachment to mere sound. It will turn away from the path of enlightenment. With words such as equipoise, The wise combine with meditative concentration. The object of that meditation, Is always the illusory nature of the Buddha. With the unwavering union of illusion, The harm to the senses will cease. Likewise, separation from this, Such as what is called mind, in due order. Here, the transference of essence upwards, is also merely meditating with the mind. Therefore, what is called preliminary, is that the previously spoken meditations all arise from the mind. What is called Dharma, is what does not arise from the mind. That is, what is purified by the mind, is purified by good meditation. What is called arising from the mind, is that all dharmas arise from the mind. Therefore, what is called the king of mind, etc., is the king of mind because it spreads and clarifies with the mind. What is called by grace, is to clarify the ability with the mind. Just as the grace of the body does not enjoy abundance, the body will become vast. Likewise, all of the three realms arise from the mind. Therefore, because it is considered as Dharma and possessing Dharma, it is spoken from the door of speech. Or, what is called doing, is the emanation of the three realms. This is the world of the Buddha. Likewise, the world of ordinary people is also spoken of. Therefore, what is called because, etc., is to elaborate on the nature of the causes and effects of present sentient beings. Here, from the beginningless continuum from before, the sentient beings of the nature of ignorance

Everything is the nature of mind. Therefore, sentient beings arise from mind. This means that ignorance arises from the mind's conceptualization. That which is called "the wise" should be completely abandoned by the wise. How is that? It is said in the scriptures that if ignorance is completely abandoned, then at that time, recitation is done because of the characteristics mentioned earlier. Within the Avadhuti (Tibetan transliteration), one should symbolize the samadhi of the wisdom bodhisattva's heart, the five stupas in the bodhisattva's heart, and perform the recitation of wisdom. The yogi refers to the Mind-Only school. The heart refers to the essence of the mind. Thinking refers to the inconceivable object. Therefore, one should meditate. The gross aggregates and so on, and the sense bases, dissolve into the four bindus. There, the subtle aggregates and the four bindus also dissolve into space. Thus, after the five aggregates become subtle, the form aggregate, like the veins of a lotus root, has seventy-two thousand veins. Among them, Avadhuti (Tibetan transliteration) is the consciousness aggregate. The wisdom bodhisattva within it is the feeling aggregate. There, the samadhi bodhisattva is the perception aggregate. Here, the meditation of upward transference is the formation aggregate. Thus, symbolically, the five stupas are considered to be gross forms. Similarly, in "cause" and so on, "cause" refers to the reason for dissolving into it. "Becoming" refers to form and so on. The seed within it refers to the Mind-Only school, the nature of the five elements or the nature of the five wisdoms. Therefore, it is not merely the form of that, meaning that the form of letters or the form of bindus does not appear in the ultimate truth. However, those are merely the nature of the forms fabricated by the Mind-Only school. Why? It is said in the scriptures that in "cause and" and so on, "fruit" refers to seeing the stages of complete enlightenment perfected by self-awareness. The "cause" within it is merely the nature of the aggregates. Therefore, "seed" refers to good wisdom arising from sentient beings who have abandoned ignorance, and from that, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas arise. Therefore, that is not merely seeing that, meaning that Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are not merely
