"Nirvana" means completely abandoning one's own benefit and not engaging in the affairs of samsara. The reason for saying "reaching the ultimate" is that until the previously mentioned meditation has reached its ultimate, one should not consider other things. However, "Buddha" and so on are words of oath, therefore they arise without defilement. Therefore, in order to show this, "increase and decrease" and so on are spoken. "Decrease" refers to the cognition of the non-existence of all dharmas. "Increase" refers to the clinging to them, that is, the cognition that abandons these is what is called "increase." "Unsurpassed" refers to that which even the omniscient cannot conceive, cannot speak, or has abandoned words that are harmless. This is the view of some scholars. Similarly, "decrease" here refers to the nature of all sentient beings, in short, the eighty natures, the mind is the dependent. Therefore, the channels are also dependent. Therefore, in order to explain the profound meaning, this is clearly stated. In short, it is characterized by the nature of the mind. Abandoning their nature is "decrease." Or, increasing for the sake of increasing them. Through these, the yogi who has completely abandoned and is completely liberated is called "unsurpassed." Thus, the summarized five aggregates and so on, and the word "and so on" refers to the dharmas of realms, roots, and so on, that is, not abandoning all of these. Therefore, external actions are also not completely abandoned, this is for the sake of worldly terms. Because what worldly people trust, the Tathagatas all teach the Dharma by making people trust in metaphors. However, all of these are spoken of with "like a water tree" and so on, just as the essence of water trees is empty, and cannot be found when examined. Similarly, the nature of dharmas arises from the dharmadhatu, therefore it is the characteristic of the dharmadhatu. Just as space arises in the face of space. Similar to this, "equality and inequality" means that space also originally did not arise, it is the characteristic of unreal appearance, meaning that the dharmadhatu is inexpressible.

Thus, initially, the nature of the body, speech, and mind of Lala (la nā, Sanskrit Romanization: lalanā, meaning body channel), Rasana (ra sa nā, Sanskrit Romanization: rasanā, meaning tongue channel), and Avadhuti (a wa dhū tī, Sanskrit Romanization: avadūtī, meaning central channel) is explained. Here, Lala (la nā, Sanskrit Romanization: lalanā, meaning body channel) is the nature of the body. Therefore, not meditating on emptiness is because, in the dark fortnight (dark moon), due to the difference of the increasing solar aspect, the fifteen lunar aspects are exhausted. That is also the Bodhicitta of the inner self, the moon of fifteen aspects. Therefore, it is the substance of the body. If it is abandoned, it will not engage in self-benefit and the benefit of others. Therefore, it should not be meditated upon, because it is self-accomplished, that is certain. Also, saying "not empty," similarly, because in the bright fortnight (bright moon), the enjoyment of the lunar aspect increases, the solar aspect decreases, and internally, Rasana (ra sa nā, Sanskrit Romanization: rasanā, meaning tongue channel) decreases. From the first day of the bright fortnight, etc., the difference of the fifteen increasing aspects. Thus, saying "not empty" means: not empty is also not meditated upon. This is the intention. By meditating on it, the substance of speech will be exhausted. Therefore, that word was spoken: "Emptiness should not be abandoned," here, one of the sixteen parts of Avadhuti (a wa dhū tī, Sanskrit Romanization: avadūtī, meaning central channel), one part is the characteristic of the substance of mind. Thus, the meaning is that both the empty and not empty aspects should not be abandoned. Why? Because it is said "not empty," etc., here, because of clinging to one substance of empty or not empty, there is fault. What is that? It is said that ordinary conceptual thoughts arise. Ordinary means clinging to two substances, so clinging to each. Therefore, non-dual wisdom will not arise. Thus, meditation becomes inferior. Saying "completely abandon," etc., means completely abandoning the mind that relies on these conceptual thoughts. When saying "both," etc., "pure" refers to the mind of the yogi. Therefore, liberation will be attained. It means the purification of wisdom combined with non-attention. Therefore, saying "I," etc., is easy to understand. Thus, the Dharma nature of body, speech, and mind is explained. That also, through the difference of nature, transforms into the nature of one's own essence, and when saying "unchanging," etc., the nature of detachment is Lala (la nā, Sanskrit Romanization: lalanā, meaning body channel), that is change.
