Transforms. The essence of wisdom bindu is excellent, How is its nature at the center? Vowel and consonant seed-syllable garland, Should be contemplated with diligence. There, fierce fire will blaze, Therefore, it is thus prevented. The appearance of white color and light, Its door is extremely subtle, It is just a name, it is mind, Widely known as the name of bindu. Having arisen from the Brahma's door, Mind should be indicated by mind. The bindu door of Avadhuti, Goes as the one indicated by the path. In the sky of many channels, Holding the object of complete knowledge. Attachment to the guru's path is supreme, This wisdom is direct cognition itself. Thus, the supreme of the path, Is the supreme taught by the guru. The wisdom of the supreme instruction, The teachings are the same and different. It is also not outside the path, etc., Not outside the oral instructions. There are no oral instructions except for treatises, It is obtained from closely practicing the treatises. The words of easy attainment, etc., Are the various external treatises. What is said about union, etc., Is difficult to obtain from all treatises. The one who knows the means is the Buddha, Meditation is done by the mind. The treatises are only teachings, Which the wise do not understand. They cause those who have not heard to enter, And teach the disciples. Those will go to hell, Speaking untruths during disputes. Therefore, it is the knowledge of means. The guru is the place of all qualities, The yogi serves with reverence. Likewise, abandon the ignorant, The Dharma of the Tathagata's lineage Will be obtained from the guru's mouth. The order of one transmission after another, The path is thus taught. Follow the wise, That guru is equal to the Buddha. Even if a hundred treatises are inferior, The wise should not criticize. The path resides in his throat, Enlightenment does not come from sound. Clinging only to sound, Becomes an outsider from the path to enlightenment. With words such as equipoise, etc., The intelligent combine meditation. The object of its meditation, Is always the Buddha, an illusion. With the union of immovable illusion, The senses cease harm. Likewise, the one separated from it, Is called mind, etc., in order as it is. Here, transferring the essence upwards, that too is meditated on by the mind.

Just by that, then "preliminary practice" refers to the meditations previously mentioned that arise from the mind. Dharma refers to that which does not arise from the mind. Moreover, purification by mind means purification by good meditation. Arising from mind means that all dharmas arise from the mind. Therefore, it is called "king of mind" and so on, because it expands and clarifies with the mind, hence it is the king of mind. By kindness means clarifying the power by mind. Just as the kindness of the body, if not enjoyed and increased, the body will grow. Similarly, all three realms arise from the mind. Therefore, because it is regarded as dharma and the possessor of dharma, it is expressed through the door of speech. Or "doing" refers to the emanation of the three realms. That is the world of the Buddha. Similarly, the world of ordinary people is also spoken of. Therefore, it is called "therefore" and so on, to elaborate on the objects of cause and effect of sentient beings now. Here, because of the beginningless continuum from the past, all sentient beings of the nature of ignorance are the nature of mind. Therefore, "sentient beings arise from mind" refers to the ignorance that arises from the conceptualization of mind. Moreover, being called "intelligent" means it should be completely abandoned by the wise. How is that? It is said: If and so on, means if ignorance can be completely abandoned, then at that time recitation means: because of the characteristics previously mentioned. In Avadhūti (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: Avadhūti, Sanskrit Romanization: Avadhūti, Chinese literal meaning: one who has shaken off), the samadhi of the heart of the wisdom bodhisattva, the five stupas of the heart of the bodhisattva should be symbolized, and the recitation of wisdom should be done. Yogi refers to mind-only. In the heart means the essence of the mind. Thought refers to the inconceivable object. Therefore, one should meditate. The gross aggregates and so on and the sense bases dissolve into the four bindus. There, the subtle aggregates and the four bindus also dissolve into space. Thus, in the subtle aspect of the five aggregates, the form aggregate, like the true state of the lotus root, has seventy-two thousand channels. Among them, Avadhūti (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: Avadhūti, Sanskrit Romanization: Avadhūti, Chinese literal meaning: one who has shaken off) is the consciousness aggregate. The wisdom bodhisattva within it is the feeling aggregate. There, the samadhi bodhisattva is the perception.
