Spirits, pretas, flesh-eaters, and dakinis are all disturbed. Seal it and frighten it with Hum. Torment with the vajra and become happy. This means that tormenting with the vajra means visualizing vajras arising from the syllable Hum in the two hands and the soles of the feet of the yogini, rubbing and massaging them, and striking with mustard seeds generated from the burning vajra generated from Hum. Becoming happy means becoming as before. The meaning here is to abide in a yoga that cannot be overcome by others, and after protecting, visualize burning vajras arising from the syllable Hum in the palms of both hands and the soles of both feet, and mentally draw rakshasas and so on from the body of the person to be subdued, not bringing them close between the hands, and burning them with the burning vajra. Again, place the rakshasas and so on under the feet, meditate on rubbing and burning, and recite the mantra with imperative words such as "Amu ka raksha sa ya te bhyo mo ja yed." Or, abide on the body of the person to be subdued, visualizing that the rakshasas and so on are themselves, and bind them, thinking that the person to be subdued will suffocate and die. Then, seize the two ribs of the person to be subdued with the two hands holding the vajra, and burn the heart and throat of the person to be subdued with the burning vajra generated from Hum, and generate the burning vajra from the king of mustard seeds, Hum, and recite the mantra one hundred and eight times, and then strike each mustard seed with one recitation of the mantra, visualizing it turning into powder. In this way, the rakshasas and so on will feel compassion and suffer, vowing until the branch of the tree is broken.
