It is only said that they are seduced by inferior examples. If it is not so, then what is the use of the perfect stage without elaboration? What kind of happiness is obtained from the father? Happiness is self-enjoyment. Dying with what is also happiness, happiness is the word of meditation. This refers to: Father, that is, the aspect of mind-only, is called "father." What kind of happiness is obtained from that father? It is only the happiness of the nature of benefiting all sentient beings. Happiness is self-enjoyment. This refers to: One should realize one's own nature, that is, the supreme emptiness, and the manifestation of enlightenment from the beginning, which is the essence of compassion. What kind of happiness is that? Therefore, it is said: Dying with what is also happiness. What is meant by dying with what is the cessation of the life-force that is exerted by body, speech, and mind, that is dying with what. What will that become? It is said, "My happiness is." That is the nature of the supreme, perfectly complete enlightenment. What is meant by meditation is that it is non-conceptual and one-pointed. How is it said that it is said? It is the concluding word of "if it is conventional truth." It is taught in this way: Because all dharmas are understood to be mind-only, therefore, for those who do not possess this (wisdom), first with great compassion, entering into the absence of appearance, this shows that the death of the essence of an ordinary person cutting off life, having attained perfect enlightenment, has not abided in conventional truth by the name of meditation. Again, the so-called "father" is the mind of the nature of wisdom and primordial wisdom. What is meant by "how" is how is the collection. "Happiness" is the nature of the happiness of the three realms. "Obtaining" means to obtain. "Happiness is self-enjoyment," which means that one should accomplish that supreme happiness, that is, the nature of the Tathagata, merely through practice without relying on karma mudra. What is meant by "with what happiness" is that it arises by nature. What is meant by "death" is that the contaminated aggregates, realms, and sources, etc., are regarded as dead because they do not arise at all. "Happiness is the word of meditation," which means that it arises from excellent meditation. That itself is the nature of Vajradhara great bliss. Say

Regarding the earth, the lamas say that it arises and grows only from one's own mind. It is said that the nature of the yogi's wisdom and knowledge, which is the mind, is the source of happiness, and through the accumulation of good and bad, for all beings who have become sacred and non-sacred, the method of obtaining the understanding of undifferentiated great bliss is only one's own mind. Obtaining the happiness that arises from its own nature, and the cessation of all contaminated dharmas, arises from learning excellent meditation, the lamas say. This is the instruction here. Therefore, the tenth chapter of the First Examination says, "Free from the cause and characteristics of the mudra." That is to say, for those who possess wisdom and compassion, firstly the secret wisdom and knowledge, and the fourth, are not necessary. Afterwards, there is no need to rely on other mudras except for the great mudra that is free from elaboration. In that way, they are not touched by the fault of desire, and since they abide in the method of liberation from desire, they also have the authority to receive and give the instructions of the place of secret and wisdom knowledge. How can they do that? Even without empowerment, they can receive its instructions, and if they have the authority to give, then Vajradhara said that this shows the true empowerment. Otherwise, for them, there is no accomplishment, and they will not become enlightened. If someone says that things like this are not so, that is not so, for example, just as one accepts the knowledge of the eye-ointment stick without experiencing the painful sensation of opening the eyes with the eye-ointment stick, and does not have the power to give, so it is the same. If someone says that this is not so, because here it shows the meaning of experience, that is not so, because: "The joy born together, others, even if they do not say, cannot find." And, similarly: "Like the great joy of a young woman, an indescribable happiness arises." Therefore, what one has experienced oneself is not told to the disciple. Furthermore, if one speaks of the meaning of experience, then, is one speaking of the experience of happiness arising from the two senses, or is one speaking of
