The activities to be performed during the three recitations are the perfection of possessing oneself. There, generate the deities of the mandala from just the seed syllables and hand gestures, and invoke the wheel of wisdom. Generate increase and bless body, speech, and mind. Make extensive offerings and praises. Drink nectar, and do this during the recitations. Then, the disciple offers a mandala and makes requests, and all the rituals are performed here as in the preparatory stage. All the common rituals are performed as they are abbreviated. The special rituals are as described in the tenth chapter. In the initiation ritual, proclaim the vows, and administer the oath water. Then, bestow wisdom, cast flowers, identify the deities of the mandala, and establish the suchness of the mandala and the suchness of the deities, which is the sequence of entry. Then, for the empowerment, especially the empowerment of the yidam deity, starting from the vase empowerment, followed by the common and special subsequent permissions, as well as the relief and prophecy, these should be done in harmony. Then, the special empowerment is that, since the secret empowerment has already been performed, there are two kinds of wisdom and prajna empowerment: the empowerment with attachment and the method of empowerment without attachment. First, explain: Twelve, sixteen years old, having obtained both, the eight vidyas of great bliss. The so-called actions, etc., are the qualities of age, the qualities of lineage, the qualities of practice, etc., which are added as before. Mother and sister, etc., what is said, etc., is not literal, but rather the guru's empowerment is wrong, receiving empowerment together with oneself, having done the vase empowerment oneself, and so on, are all encompassed by the Dharma. Embracing tightly and kissing, etc., from there to playing there, is the first session. Then the second session, from there to the guru, etc., being completely separated, in between is the sequence of actions, that is, offerings and praises and requests, as before. Then the actual empowerment is shown there. The first joy of separation has excellent boundaries. Everything is unfolded in the tantra, differentiating boundaries with boundaries.

These are the Action Tantra, Performance Tantra, Yoga Tantra, and Anuttarayoga Tantra. First, the wisdom of joy is hidden and revealed merely by looking. Second, the wisdom of supreme joy is hidden and revealed merely by the deities laughing at each other. Third, the wisdom of joylessness is hidden and revealed merely by the embrace of the mudra of the deity Samaya-sattva and the wisdom-sattva. Here, the coemergent wisdom of Kuntuzangpo is ascertained and revealed. Moreover, the first is that joy enters from the path. The second is that supreme joy possesses an antidote. The third is that joylessness becomes an antidote, that is, it is separated from incompatibility. The fourth is coemergence, which is the sole nature of the antidote. Then, the empowerment of detachment is shown. After rejoining with the vajra offering, the question is asked, "Those deities," and so on. The Blessed One's teaching is the answer: There is no beginning or end there. There is no existence, no nirvana. This is the supreme great bliss itself. There is no self, and there is no other. This is like the eye of a crow, which ascertains the meaning of both the former and the latter. It is explained in terms of what is to be known, and the coemergence of the former and latter meanings is ascertained, and the complete stage is shown all at once. The first is the beginning, that is, things have not been produced. The middle has not been established. The end has not ceased. There is no existence, and all the things of samsara do not exist. Nor does it exist in nirvana. There is no self and no other, that is, there are no objects of grasping and grasping. Here, the supreme great bliss is the nature of the fruit, showing the unconditioned, self-arisen great wisdom. Again, at first there is joy, in the middle there is supreme joy, and in the end there is joylessness. No existence, no nirvana, is coemergent joy, that is, samsara and nirvana are inseparable. This is the supreme great bliss itself, symbolizing the wisdom of meaning without defilements. What is called no self, no other, is the cessation of the thought of self and other. Again, what is called no existence is the collection of the outer container world and all the inner sentient beings into the mandala of support and supported. What is called no nirvana is the support.
