Blessing, taking hold, and protecting. Among these, examination is divided into outer examination and inner examination. Among these, the examination of the outer place is related to the previous "gardens and beings not dwelling," and so on. The examination of direction is to the north and east of those. Examination from color and shape is: Udumbara tree, banyan tree, Ashvattha tree, faith tree, Bakula tree, and Arjuna tree. With these like a turtle's back, these six lands should be avoided. As it is said, those with hot gates, etc., and bad omens like water flowing into a corpse hole, etc., should all be avoided. The inner examination is to make offerings to the Sugata, give alms, and sleep only with the yoga of the remaining deity. If the omens of the dream are bad, move elsewhere; if good, write there. There are two kinds of arousal: manifest arousal and unmanifest arousal. Manifest arousal is to buy from the king or landowner with words and value. Unmanifest arousal is to make offerings to the Tathagata and give alms to the earth lord with A(藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿)karos to arouse. The purification of the land is whether it needs to be purified or not. What does not need to be purified is: the cattle pen and the waterside, the stone slab and the temple, inside the mandala house, and there is no need to purify the obstruction again. There are three kinds of purification: purification by action and deed, purification by mantra and mudra, and purification by samadhi. Purification by action and deed is: one should know the order of the fetus, starting from the autumn small month, etc., every three months, the fetus faces south and west, east and its head, lying on the left corner. Use that to know the fetus and then dig, dig from the head and back, etc., and know from the excessive defects. That is, the navel, the hidden place, about the west of the knee, after digging up all that land, fill it again with it. If there is excess, it shows that there is accomplishment. After digging like that, if bad omens of the land appear, fill it with good ones instead, and also put in treasures. There, dig a pit about an elbow deep, put in water and flowers, and walk about eight steps away. That water flows from east to west, and from south to north.

and if it revolves and coils to the right, one should know the good and bad omens. To purify with mantras and mudras, the right hand makes the mudra of a three-pointed vajra, strikes the ground, and recites: Om Sarva Pāpaṃ Dahana Mama Rakṣa Rakṣa Hūṃ Phaṭ Svāhā (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་པཱ་བཾ་ད་ཧ་ན་མཱ་མ་རཀྵ་རཀྵ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ॐ सर्व पापं दहना मम रक्ष रक्ष हुं फट् स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ sarva pāpaṃ dahana mama rakṣa rakṣa hūṃ phaṭ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, all sins, burn, protect me, protect me, Hum, Phat, Svaha). Samadhi is to meditate on the earth as invisible and to think of it as extremely pure. Some purify through actions and deeds. Some purify through mantras and mudras. Some are just samadhi. These should be understood accordingly. Then, to bless, one contemplates the earth as emptiness from the syllable Kham From the syllable Lam (藏文:ལཾ,梵文天城体:लं,梵文罗马拟音:lam,汉语字面意思:Earth), bless it as a great golden earth. From the syllable Sum (藏文:སུཾ,梵文天城体:सुं,梵文罗马拟音:sum,汉语字面意思:Mount Meru), bless it as the nature of four precious jewels. From the syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum), bless the earth as vajra. Om, Vajra, Foundation, Vajra, Become, Bind, Hum). Contemplate the nature of the vajra earth as the space element being completely pure. To fully grasp the earth, one sits in the center of the mandala, which is as flat as a mirror, and practices the six-limbed yoga or the three combinations until the end of the recitation. Furthermore, it says below: Bathing and cleansing, fragrant body, Adorned with various ornaments, The guru enters the mandala, Striving with the syllable Hum, the Vajra Holder, Drawing the mandala from the outside, This is related to the earth ritual. After that, what is the measurement? A mandala of three cubits is a small measurement. This is also the nature of the three kayas. Three fingers are body, speech, and mind. After that, for protection, one remembers Vajrasattva, and after the supplication, one stands up and acts with dignity, looking in all directions, and circumambulating with vajra steps. "Right extension" means doing the right extension and other postures, or the main deity's sitting posture is half-lotus, with the left leg contracted and resting. Joining the two hands in the joyful vajra mudra is not the two-armed Heruka, but joining the hands with the mudra of holding the two vajra bells. When the guru enters the mandala, he enters inside the lines and looks, offering a garland of flowers. Here, it is related to the accomplishment of the mandala. This is also the order of prior knowledge.
