The meaning of "should be killed" is this: In order to prove that the hanged corpse or the one killed on the battlefield is without fault, it is eaten. If the seventh rebirth itself is with fault, then for what purpose is it killed and not eaten? The explanation for this is: There is no fault of sin, and it should be eaten even after killing. From where? Because compassion is generated through effort. Effort means not generating divine nature, etc., and in the category of not generating, etc., taking its consciousness and perfecting it in the immovable nature. Therefore, that sentient being is without the fault of sin, because of effort. For a yogi with compassionate means, there is no fault in killing. Then, if one seeks the accomplishment of Mahamudra, what is the need for the accomplishment of Khechara? If there is such a doubt. Even so, it should be killed because of compassion. How so? Wherever yogis gather and wherever yoginis gather, will they not hesitate to be more inclined towards the accomplishment of Mahamudra? In any case, because sentient beings have various inclinations, there are also sentient beings who are inclined towards the accomplishment of Khechara, etc., who gather there. Therefore, for their sake, food for the accomplishment of the seventh rebirth is also needed. This is also because of the nature of compassion, so merit should also be eaten. Or, these are the words established by those who abide in other views. From where? Through effort, compassion is generated, and the wise should kill. One wants to be liberated from suffering, and one enters because one wants happiness. Effort depends on various methods. Then, is the one who kills not wise? This is not understanding the pride of the wise, because one is only focused on one's own happiness. You are those people. Without compassion, it cannot be accomplished. Therefore, compassion should be generated. Without compassion means that those who want to liberate sentient beings from suffering and the cause of suffering do not have compassion, so it is said to be without compassion. That cannot be accomplished.

Those will not accomplish the siddhi of the mudra. Therefore, compassion and love should be generated. Because the word "near" means proximity, compassion focused on sentient beings should be taken, not compassion focused on the Dharma. Or, compassion refers to the nature of non-objectification, which is the Vajra of the Bhagavan's delight. Without it, there is no compassion. Not accomplishing means not becoming accomplished in the great mudra's siddhi. Therefore, generating compassion, because of that very cause, one should generate Vajradhara. All malice should be destroyed, and thoroughly accomplished through the chief of the ritual. "Malicious" refers to having non-virtuous suffering, hence being malicious. In order to destroy those, in order to enter virtue here, all this, such as killing, should be done. That is the ritual itself. The chief is the chief. It is accomplished by that very cause. Thoroughly accomplishing becomes killing and so forth. One should look at it like this: during the day, the Bhagavan Vajradhara, at night, wisdom should be examined. Therefore, what is it that those skilled in means contradict with the worldly? That is what generates the transcendent. What is transcendent is what enters into the worldly itself to revolve. Day is the quality of the characteristic of being extremely clear. That Vajra-holder is the Bhagavan Vajradhara. Night is the night, the fault of being of the nature of darkness. That is wisdom. Faults and qualities, Vajradhara and the nature of selflessness, therefore, quality itself is a fault, fault itself is a quality, the two are inseparable. What does this show? The qualities of the heretics who are unskilled in means, virtue itself becomes a fault. The faults of those skilled in means also become qualities. By striving to generate compassion, killing is to be done by the skillful. All that is shown is extremely pure. Or, regarding "that," it is established in that way. "Like this" of looking like this refers to the wisdom of the inseparability of means and wisdom. What is to be known is that these are established through the aspect of wisdom. Generating compassion.
