From the navel of that Lord. "Having drawn out the black ray hook" means to expand. "With the form of a hook" means in the manner of indicating what should be indicated, like a finger. "Inviting all the Buddhas residing in the three realms" means having invited. "The eight mothers" means the eight yoginis. "Having offered perfectly" means having made perfect offerings with lute and flute, etc. Afterwards, what should be supplicated is supplication. Or, "one's own heart" means having gathered and summoned to the heart, i.e., "The yogi transforms into the nature of wrath." This is in the heart of the deity generated as the nature of Akshobhya. "From one's own seed syllable" means from the seed syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,seed syllable), the nature of Vajradhara. "Having arisen with black rays" means having expanded the clear light wisdom of the nature of Akshobhya. Regarding "with the form of that hook," A (ཨ,a,without) is the fifteen letters from the letter A, etc., to the letter Aṃ (ཨཾ,aṃ,), which are the ḍākinīs. Because they comprehend and realize them, it is called a hook. That is also the letter A, the nature of the selflessness mother. "By that" means because Vajradhara and the selflessness mother are inseparable. "Residing in the three realms" means because body, speech, and mind are inseparable. That residing is abiding in its nature. The Buddhas are the five Tathāgatas of the nature of the five wisdoms. "Inviting" means gathering. "The eight mothers" means the five, such as the white mother, are the five objects. The three, such as the charnel ground mother, are the three vajras. These are also the cause of generation, so they are like mothers. Grasping and clinging to what is to be grasped is from the object of focus. Both are transformed into the purity of the deity, so they become without obscuration. Having offered perfectly by them means having made perfect offerings, i.e., "turning back from manifest clinging to the senses and objects," this is a perfect offering. Regarding "afterwards, one should supplicate," afterwards means similarity. Because of similarity, one supplicates, i.e., transforms into the nature of the protectors. By this, the Tathāgatas and the
