DTG004 0119.A Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Second Chapter..g2.0f

English

Initially urged by the Playful Mother. "Noble One, arise" means Noble One, please arise. "Possessing compassionate mind" means making the mind great with compassion. "Me" refers to me. "Completely protect" means please completely protect me. Why? Great Bliss, that is, Great Bliss is the bliss of great liberation. To unite for this purpose, that is, the Joyful Vajra arising from the request, please arise. "Abandon the nature of emptiness" means the nature of emptiness, that is, please abandon the essence, meaning please abandon the form of the request. "Accomplish the needs of the hermitess" means praying to accomplish the work of the hermitess. Then, of Tummo: "Worldly Listener" means listening to the benefit of all worldly beings. "Pervading Lord of Bliss" means, alas! Pervading Lord of Bliss, this is a call. "Why do you abide in emptiness?" means emptiness, that is, why does the form of the request abide? "Tummo, I pray" means Tummo, I pray very much. If asked why pray? "Without you, the direction is unclear" means if separated from you, no direction can be seen, if it is dark, only dark things can be seen. That is the meaning. Then, of the Heroine: "Possessing illusory eyes, please arise" means alas! Possessing illusory eyes, please arise, meaning like possessing illusory eyes. If it is said that it is not like illusory eyes now, then what is said here is that I seek your mind, that is, I seek your mind and cause. "Heroine, I am a great place" means Heroine, I am a person from a great city, this is boasting, meaning you have no power to deceive me. Therefore, do not do meaningless things, that is, do not do. "The stream of compassion is interrupted" means the stream of compassion is interrupted and cut off, that is, because of the request. Or completely abandon compassion, do not use the form of the request to block it. Immediately after these five verses, again

This single verse beginning with "Am Hum Dag Gis" should be observed. "Great Vajra Holder" refers to Hevajra. "Appearing from supplication" means that by using the four songs of entreaty as adornment, the stage of supplication is abandoned and it appears. "Am Hum Dag Gis" means that the letters Am, born from the collection of supplication, and the letter Hum generate it. "Striking" means striking everywhere. "Threatening" means that it is secondary to the initial meaning. Likewise, "eight faces" should also be regarded as secondary. Following this verse, it is connected to the five verses beginning with "eight faces, four feet." Face is the countenance. Feet refer to including thighs, shins, and feet. Therefore, this deity subdues the four maras, hence it is said. "Terrifying" means causing terror. "Adorned with a garland of heads" means that this deity is adorned with a garland of heads, hence it is said. "Dance" means with an extremely fierce dance. "Causes terror" means that its color is blue, just as it causes terror. "Body" refers to the physical body. "Going" refers to walking. "Joy" refers to supreme joy. These two are given because they possess discrimination. That entering into samadhi means that it is made manifest. So, what kind of mudra does this deity possess? Here it is said, "Unites with the no-self mother," which is the no-self mother. "Without anger" refers to the bliss without elaboration, which is self-nature joy. Obtaining that means possessing attainment. "So, with what mudra should this deity bless?" Here it is said, "In the nature of no anger," which means that because it is the antidote to all elaboration, the nature of no anger is the body of Hevajra, therefore this deity possesses it, hence it is said. Such reality is the wheel of Hevajra. The opposite of that should be known as the wheel of the no-self mother. In terms of the difference of the main deity, how should one view which of the eight faces? Here it is said, "The root face is," etc.
