A Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Second Chapter. A Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Second Chapter. First, Explanation of the Consecration Chapter. Inviting the deities to reside in the statues is consecration. Here, the ritual for the purpose of establishing well is consecration. Its characteristic is nature itself. Vajra is the three secrets of all Buddhas. The essence of these is said to be whatever their nature is. Homa is for the purpose of dispelling obstacles. "Evening" means starting at night. "Having made preparations, etc." means the ritual of preparations, etc. The mantra of offering is spoken with "Om," etc. "Various" means various kinds. "From the previous tantra" means this is the supreme tantra itself. Because the time for homa has come, homa is spoken of. "Peaceful," etc. Here, these three hearths should be combined appropriately with others as well. One cubit in width and half a cubit in depth. "White color" means everything is white. "Near liberation, etc." means the fierce rituals of near liberation and expulsion, etc. The burnt offerings mentioned are "sesame," etc. "Goddess, you" is the mantra for inviting the earth goddess, spoken in the context of the mantra. The mantra for offering water, etc., at the end is the mantra of fire. A Garland of Pearls, a Commentary on the Difficult Points of the Delightful Vajra, from the Second Discrimination, the Explanation of the First Chapter on Consecration. Second, Explanation of the Chapter on Determining Accomplishment. "Vajra Essence asked" means inquired. "Like the sky," etc., is like the sky having no beginning, likewise, the non-virtue and unspecified dharmas of all sentient beings, gathered by obscuration, are also the same. The antidote to these is to meditate on one's own deity. Therefore, how can sentient beings be delivered from the ocean-like unfavorable conditions by an antidote like a raft, and if they cannot reach the other shore, how can they be accomplished by meditating on them? This is the meaning of the inquiry. Here, the Bhagavan answers, "No self," etc. For example, the darkness of a mountain cave, a mass accumulated for a long time, together with a lamp.

Just as something released is exhausted in an instant, the arising of this uncontaminated path instantly eliminates the accumulation of unfavorable aggregates accumulated since beginningless time, understand it that way. If someone wonders, how can the unsurpassed transcendental path arise quickly? It depends on the difference in practice. In this regard, is it the difference in focusing on yoga, or the difference in the selflessness of the yogini? Or is it the difference in meditating on Hevajra, so that the moment never ceases? If someone asks, how can the moment never cease in the beginning? Then, it is said, "In the beginning," and so on. The so-called "time of night" refers to the time when beings are sleeping. The so-called "self-practice" refers to the difference in faith. The so-called "yogini" refers to the selflessness. Thus, after speaking of the yoga of equanimity during the time of sleep, the yoga of constant equanimity during the time when beings are awake is spoken of. "Foot," and so on. The so-called "rinsing the mouth" refers to washing the face. The so-called "serving" refers to pleasing. If someone asks, "How to serve?" It is said, "Yogini," and so on. The so-called "momentary instant," and so on, means that because it is separated from the nature of selflessness, even a momentary instant of one's own image should not be looked at. Without that arrogance, one's own mind should not do anything for a moment. The so-called "vajra heart," and so on, refers to gathering together. Sin is the accumulation of unfavorable aspects. In order to generate stable yogic power, it is said, "Because of compassion," and so on. The so-called "half-month" refers to the yogas of equanimity and non-equanimity. The so-called "one day" refers to the yoga of equanimity itself. The so-called "completely abandoning all thoughts" is expressed by "uninterrupted." The so-called "together" refers to half a month or one day, as before. The use of "fear" and other phrases indicates persuasiveness. The so-called "madness" refers to the untamed. In order to generate joy in yoga, it is said, "Like that," and so on. The so-called "definitely knowing" refers to realization. Benefit arises from this yoga, and harm arises from worldly behavior. The so-called "calling" refers to
