There is no object. Absence of attachment is the special joy, which is the very cessation of the fruit. Therefore, it also has no object in the nature of enlightenment. The middle way is the joy of the first stage of bliss. As stated in the eighth chapter, the middle way is merely joy. How is this the middle way? Because it is inferior in itself. In the world, whatever is inferior is called intermediate. For example, it is like saying "medium build" and "medium height." That joy also has no object in the nature of perfect enlightenment. Thus, attachment and non-attachment are merely enlightenment, as they are focused on the fruit. However, it is not perfect enlightenment. The middle way is not even enlightenment, because it is focused on touch. As it is said in the sixteenth chapter: "There is no beginning, no end, no middle." This will be explained. The meaning of no beginning, no end, and no middle is that having abandoned those three moments, one should fully understand the coemergent joy that is different from them. That itself has become the nature of the fruit and is called coemergent enlightenment. Because it is to be known by oneself, that wisdom itself is also called the fruit. Because it turns towards the manifestation of enlightenment, the fruit of true bliss, it is called enlightenment. How is this to be fully known? Because the supreme joy is the desire to produce the fruit, and the characteristic of the cessation of the fruit is the special joy. What abides between them is this supreme wisdom, and its characteristics are well spoken of by the very words such as coemergent. Furthermore, it is unreasonable to say "abandoned the three," because the dharmakaya of perfect enlightenment, which has no beginning and no end, is itself coemergent. So how can one think that it is not present in the three joys? Therefore, it is said, "or else," and so forth. "Or else" and "whatever" are synonyms. Saying "that itself is the lord of all" means that the coemergent is the master of all, and therefore it follows the three joys. The common bliss is emptiness by the two, and whatever is like that is uncommon, that is the meaning. Or else

To know, all other kinds have been abandoned, that is, they are free from the three joys, and do not follow the special characteristics of self-awareness. It is precisely because of being separated from these special characteristics that it abandons these three. Thus it is said. Therefore, this is not illogical. Although this has been well explained, in order to clarify the co-emergent joy, it is said, "special" and so on. The first is before the special. If that is the supreme joy, then it is not so, as it is said: abandoning the three joys. This shows the sequel to the supreme joy. Likewise, in the sixteenth chapter, it will be explained by "supreme, edge, special, first, middle", meaning that, relative to the edge of supreme joy and special joy, it is called the middle. The nature of co-emergent joy is clearly shown in the thirteenth chapter. Supreme, edge, special are before. Thus it is said. All of these indicate that the edge of supreme joy is the edge of complete union. Special joy is born after that, and is called discrimination. Between these two, there is no substantial wisdom, no object, no pleasure without elaboration, which is co-emergent joy. Thus, by properly approaching and symbolizing co-emergent joy, by practicing it, gradually, the four samadhis appear like clouds, like illusions, like dreams, like sleep, and like awakening. Likewise, it is explained in verses, starting from "first" and so on. As long as one practices with correct union, until co-emergent joy manifests, it will appear like a cloud. This means that it appears like a moon covered by thin clouds. When it manifests, it will be accomplished. If it is accomplished, it will appear like an illusion. Through the power of wisdom created by the mind, it will manifest. After that, immediately, it will appear like a dream. Abandoning the practice of equal union, only

If one meditates according to the guru's instructions and enters the sleep of yoga, then the yogis will immediately realize it. After that, dreams and waking appear without distinction, so dreams and waking are called non-dual. How is it non-dual with waking? Because the nature of both bodies fully operates, and piercing each other and other phenomena occur. How is it no different from dreams? Even if they exist, by meditating on the co-emergent of non-objectification alone, it will manifest. Thus, when the four samadhis are complete, if you wonder how the yogi will be accomplished, it is said, "Non-dual," and so on. Non-duality is when dreams and waking are not different, meditating on its nature of co-emergence, one is accomplished by that. One must realize the co-emergent. By abiding in that, the yogi will accomplish the siddhi of Mahamudra. What is it like? It is the yogi of the mudra, because it has been made suitable, so the siddhi of Mahamudra with wisdom will be accomplished, and the accomplishment of the nature is the main cause. The union of the mudra is its co-emergent condition, and that is because it is a vow here. The siddhi of wisdom and the individual, and the siddhi of Mahamudra is the siddhi of the rational individual, because here, it is impossible to realize except for the wisdom of the lineage. In the time of the first three samadhis, one does not think that way, because at that time it is precisely the time of distraction. "Like this" means that empowerment should be given like this, and the yogi should be accomplished with the mudra like this, with this necessity, the mandala is spoken for the purpose of empowering the disciple and accomplishing the siddhi, this is the mandala of the vow and the mandala of accomplishment, it is the meaning of showing it. All the differences of the mandala, such as "double four," are easy to understand. "Place in the east" means to place. "Lord of the mandala" and so on, it is said that one should first practice. "The mandala practitioner" means each of the mandala practitioners. Where it is said
