The Earth Mother asked, "What is meant by 'Thus it is said'?" The Blessed One Vajrapani, knowing their thoughts, replied. "Touch" refers to embracing and the like. "From touch arises firmness, the nature of dharma, self-nature, and characteristics; from this" refers to the moment of joy. "The water element" refers to the moment of co-emergent joy. "Moistening" refers to the moment of supreme joy. "Going" refers to the moment of distinction. "Bliss" refers to all four joys. "How is bliss like the space element?" It means that with formlessness, those thirty-five are completely surrounded, which is the perfectly accomplished aggregate. Therefore, the answer is, "Born from the great elements." When asked in this way, others think, "The Blessed One speaks according to our thoughts, connecting with the word 'great,' the great elements are the great elements, which are the most supreme reality." Because they think in this way, to dispel this, the Blessed One said, "Why is that?" and so on. "Not that" means not the master of reality. "It is shown in this way: if joys are not reality, what need is there to mention the co-emergent earth and so on? Why ask the pleasing one? 'Why the great elements?'" The intention here is that the meaning of the word 'born' here is the meaning of non-reality. How is that harmful? From the pleasing one it is said, "'Born' means created, therefore it is not born from no cause, nor from one cause, but from the combination of cause and condition, therefore it is created. Whatever is created is also impermanent." The meaning of the word 'great' is the meaning of excellence. Therefore, many people strive to accomplish it, the extremely impermanent, this is the meaning of the great elements. For what reason is it so, whatever is bliss is the great element, because of that, it is not the meaning of reality. Is co-emergent joy also reproached by that? The answer is: it is true, it is reproached. At that time, why was it praised many times before? Because of the nature of the most supreme co-emergent and its metaphor, the co-emergent was commonly praised before. The co-emergent joy.

There are two kinds of arising: occasional and constant. What is constant? That is the supreme; that very suchness of the supreme is inexhaustible and indestructible. This is explained, such as "What is co-emergent?" Co-emergent are skillful means and wisdom, not external. What, means what kind of bliss? "Do" refers to co-emergent. "Bliss" refers to the supreme co-emergent. Why is it said so? Such as "nature," etc. One's own nature, not relying on others, arising from a moment of mind, is nature. Co-emergent is the moment of mind accompanied by others, even to the extent of being equal to space, and acting accordingly. How is it like a son? Such as "all aspects," etc. The aspect of all dharmas is merely appearing separately; because this has separate appearances, it is all aspects. One is of the same taste, the separate appearances encompassed by the two disappear. The supreme of bliss is the supreme of bliss; supreme is the main. As it is said: "Extremely peaceful and unwavering, main. Excellent, unequal and equal. Yoga without distinction, is bliss." Thus. That is bliss, and also supreme, and also one, therefore it is comprehensive. That is all aspects, and also comprehensive one, therefore all aspects are comprehensive one, called co-emergent. Again, co-emergent, skillful means and wisdom, etc., what are they? It is explained, such as "compassion," etc. For all sentient beings, considering oneself equal to others, separately contemplating, is compassion, that is skillful means. That is also a yogi, because it is the dharma of a yogi. Mudra is wisdom, that is also a yogi, as before. For all dharmas, merely being clear, separately contemplating is wisdom. What is that like? Such as "separated from cause," etc., cause is the signs, the appearance encompassed by the two. Separation from the combination of those is disappearance, making appearance non-existent. It is the meaning of "disappearance, making appearance non-existent." When perfected through the power of practicing those skillful means and wisdom, they are co-emergent.
