It is the ground. 'As it is' means without inversion. 'Sequence' refers to the ritual by which a disciple is to be empowered; that ritual will also be explained. 'Divine nature' means abiding in one's own yoga. 'From Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:हूँ,罗马转写:hūṃ,meaning: Hūṃ) comes the vajra' refers to the sequence spoken of in the chapter on deities. 'Bodhisattva' refers to Hevajra and so on. 'House' is a dwelling. 'Scent' means that which is used to write with, and it is also pigment, and writing is also done with it, so it is pigment powder. Among them, 'good' refers to the excellent jewel. 'Medium' refers to the inferior. 'Rice and so on' refers to rice, sālu rice, and pomegranates, and so on. 'Three cubits' and so on, 'three fingers more' means three fingers more. This is a brief explanation of the mandala. A detailed explanation of this will appear below. The occasion of empowerment is spoken of, 'wisdom' and so on. 'Should be placed' means should be taken. 'Beautiful woman' means excellent. If it is not found, then how should another found one be placed at that time? 'Sixteen years old' means the prime of youth. Likewise, if it has not arrived, empowerment should also be given to those who are twenty years old and so on. Covering both faces means not relying on. 'The disciple's conduct' means that the disciple should understand correctly, and if so, what will happen? It is said, 'self-awareness,' that is, by meditating on that same taste, it becomes the fruit of wisdom that can be spoken of by the name of great enlightenment, and if it is not approximated, then later meditation is not appropriate, therefore it will not have accomplishment. This is the actual word. That same fruit of wisdom is distinguished by 'nature' and so on, in oneself and others, correctly recognizing that there is no object of focus, that is, abandoning it. 'Equal to space' means that like the sky, there is no appearance, and in a clear manner, self and other appear with the same taste. 'Free from dust' means abandoning afflictions. 'Emptiness' means the disappearance of the appearance of what is to be grasped. 'Real' refers to the body of the yogi. 'Unreal' refers to the nature of grasping at its feelings and so on. Because this has their nature, it is said so.

Ceased. That is because the distinctions of my own nature also subside into the inner nature, which appears as that very nature. "Supreme" means unique, appearing only as such. Or, "supreme" means ultimate truth, because elaboration is not supreme. Method is compassion, experiencing all sentient beings as equal to oneself. Wisdom is seeing all phenomena as empty of duality. That joyfully mingled is when sentient and non-sentient beings appear as one taste, like oneself and the nature of clarity. The mixture of attachment and non-attachment is when both appear as such. Of these, attachment is the great bliss of co-emergent non-dual wisdom. Non-attachment is suchness. "Life" means living; separation from it is non-living. The immutable holy one is without beginning or end. The distinction is that all phenomena are merely mind. It abides completely in all bodies. This means that if the body is blessed by consciousness, it will live. Therefore, since its nature arises from karma and afflictions, it is said that various things arise from it, such as "things." "Things" refers to the body. "Non-things" refers to feelings, and so on. The others are the six senses. Those are the external, solid and moving things; all of that refers to the nature of consciousness. Even the non-Buddhists call it self, and so on, as it is said. Among "all" and so on, the Vedantists say, "All is consciousness." The Samkhyas say, "The mind is purusha." Those who speak of persons say, "Because it goes and dissolves again and again, it is called a person." Those who speak of Ishvara say, "The permanent self, possessing permanent knowledge, is Ishvara." Those who speak of self say, "The self itself is born, and causes to live, causes to die, causes to bind, and causes to liberate." Similarly, the naked ascetics say, "Life." Similarly, those who speak of sentient beings say, "Sentient being." Those who speak of time say, "These beings
