The seed of the nature of that generation, how it dwells in the sun or in the vajra of the sun; how it dwells in the moon or in the sign of the moon, should be distinguished accordingly. "Black Burning" refers to the category of Hevajra. For the goddesses, it should be according to what is appropriate. "The Eight Mothers" refers to Gauri and others. "To be properly offered" means to make offerings to the Buddhas who dwell in the sky. "To invoke" means to make requests to them. That is, "Abhiṣiñcatu maṃ" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: अभिषिञ्चतु मं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: abhiṣiñcatu maṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Please anoint me) and so on. "With the form of Heruka" means having the form of Heruka. "By empowerment" means the first in the sense of the seventh. "On the crown of the head, one becomes the lord of one's own family" means to generate Akshobhya on the crown of the head. Completion means reaching the end through empowerment. Therefore, it is said, "This is it," and so on. "In three sessions" refers to the three junctures. "Meditating on blessing" means gradually generating in the intervals between the inner and outer sessions. At noon and dusk, instantly generate the nature of Hevajra, and especially focus and meditate on empowerment, which is meditating on blessing, and that should be done. "Having risen" means after rising. When wondering what to do, it is said, "Deity," and so on. Deity is one's own deity, that is, its form. In each moment, one should also have special faith in it. In the Garland of Pearls, a Difficult Explanation of Hevajra, the explanation of the Fourth Chapter, the Empowerment of the Deity. Fifth, the explanation of the chapter on Thatness. Thus, having shown the two yogas of deities, abiding in the intervals of sessions and not abiding in the intervals of sessions, the yoga of Thatness should be explained. Why? Without the three, there is no swift enlightenment. Therefore, it is said, "Thatness," and so on. The chapter that clarifies Thatness is the chapter on Thatness. Form is blue, yellow, and so on. That which is non-existent is that which is not. How is it non-existent? It is empty by nature. Why? Because it is empty by nature, the object that is grasped by examination and seeing does not exist.

E! Because it is devoid of the nature of one and many. The delusion of children is merely that, it is not existent, but appears in the form of this and that, just as in dreams, etc., although there is no form, it appears only as form. Viewing is also non-existent. Therefore, it is said, 'no viewing,' that is, the viewing of the eyes, etc., and both the viewer, the person, are also non-existent by nature. That which holds the nature of things, that which is examined by children, does not exist. Thus, awareness is also non-existent, and the toucher is also non-existent. With this, it is said that the ten sense bases, form and eye, etc., and the person such as the viewer, etc., are also non-existent. 'No mind' means the mind that is the nature of consciousness. Because it is consciousness, consciousness is the six aggregates of consciousness, from the realm of eye consciousness to the realm of mind consciousness. These that have just passed are the realm of mind. These seven are the realm of consciousness, that is, the mind base. Whatever is conscious by the six consciousnesses is consciousness. Therefore, that is also said to be the sound of mind. The nature of grasping, those two are not existent, because there is no nature of the grasped, so there is no grasper. Why? Because the grasped is inseparable from the nature of one and many. The ten sense bases together with the parts, and even without parts, are because they become atoms. Gross appearance is unreasonable. If that reason is established, then what is the substance of the dharma base? Understanding it as being free from parts, the reason is not established for the nature of appearing separately to them. Therefore, it is not that there is no dharma base, so think. Therefore, it is said, 'nothing arises from the mind,' that is, the object of the mind, the dharma base that arises from the mind, that is also non-existent. Those that are not momentary have already been averted to others, and those that are momentary are also unreasonable to be grasped, because the past and the future do not exist. Those that occur in the present have no function, because the nature of the object is to function. If at that time the two
