You hold the means of terrifyingly displaying the ritual that thoroughly pacifies the arrogant. May the dance of Heruka, the essence of the three secrets of the Victorious Ones, protect you! Those who teach the sutras in accordance with the measure, Because it is clear and extremely beautiful, Like a garland of pearls, pleasing to the mind, I will explain the difficult points of Hevajra. The words of the chief deity without faith, The state of being one with the deity, Why is it measured by the all-knowing measure? Reverently, the all-knowing does not change. Even if the Victorious One has done it, it is as if he has not done it, He speaks as if he has spoken what he has not spoken, To the infallible Sugata, the supreme protector of beings, Both are equal to ridicule. The Victorious One has spoken many beneficial things, Beings receive them as they think, Thus, in explaining the meaning in this commentary, It is done with desire. If there is no realization, there is no hearing, If there is no hearing, there is no thought, If both are lost, there is no yoga, If there is no yoga, there will be no accomplishment. Thus, in this tantra for a long time, Afflicted by desire, Like a garland of pearls in the heart, Snatch it away with this thread. Some say that the words of introduction, such as "Thus I have heard," are another abbreviated tantra. Others say that this second chapter is extracted from the great tantra, and it is abbreviated and placed there as it is. Others say that this is another meaning of the great secret supreme. That is true, because it is not reasonable to say it first, and what will be explained later is the letter.
