It is the sun and Kali, which is where blood flows. The left channel is the path of entry. The right channel is the path of exit, and both nostrils are doors. The so-called sixteen changes are when half a thun flows from those two nostrils. The changes of day and night become sixteen times. The so-called sixty-four digits are day and night. Two digits are one hour. Thirty-two hours are day and night. A quarter of a thun is one hour. Four thuns are one day or one night, that is, one day and night is eight. In that, the verses say: Four thuns at night, and four thuns during the day. A quarter of one thun is one hour. Two digits are one hour. Air goes in and out from the two nostrils. Six breaths are one life, that life is fifty, and the breaths are three and three-quarters. Going north and south are the first days and nights. Therefore, the increase and decrease of day and night, until the other first movement. Likewise, whether day or night, each day decreases by one digit. The breath with a quarter of fierce elements, in the increase and decrease of each change, has one-third, one-quarter, and one-sixth of the breath, which is done during the day and night. Therefore, here it is approximately shown that the wind flows in the two channels, thereby transferring the mandala. As it is said in the Samputa Tantra: Fire and wind, as well as Maheshvara and water, the mandala always moves in it. Above and stacked and directly below, it becomes the king of Maheshvara. Water makes all things perfectly accomplished, fire makes death happen, and wind makes wealth exhausted. And so on, there is much to be said, but because of the fear of too many words, it is omitted. The six ways of remembering breathing in and out will be explained, in order to stabilize the mind, one must completely conquer the wind. As it is said in the Abhidharma: Counting and following and dwelling, after the nature is the complete removal, completely pure and likewise six, wanting to enter and exit mindfulness. The so-called entering is inhaling, it is the entering wind. Exiting is the exiting wind. The wisdom of the object is remembering entering and exiting, the cause of mindfulness.

It itself is called mindfulness. Counting is to gather the mind from the body and mind, and focus the mind on the exhalation and inhalation of breath, thereby counting from one to two, and so on up to ten, repeating in this way. There are three faults here: incomplete counting, such as taking two as one; excessive counting, such as taking one as two; confused counting, such as taking inhalation as exhalation and exhalation as inhalation. Apart from that, there is pure counting, even when distracted, one should start counting from the beginning until samadhi is attained. Following is to let the breath enter without control, entering successively into the clavicle and heart, the navel and lower waist, the thighs and shins, until it enters the feet. Exhalation is from one span to one cubit, and even to one fathom. Abiding is abiding from the tip of the nose to the toes, like seeing a string of jewels. Here one can see what is helpful and what is harmful, as well as cold and heat, and so on. Nature is that here it is not just breath, but a detailed observation of the four great elements, the derivatives of the four great elements, mind and mental factors, and the five aggregates. Reversal is to stop the mind that is focused on breath, and from above to above, correctly combine with the roots of virtue, until the supreme of Dharma and the first union. Complete purification is to correctly combine with the path of seeing, etc., and the supreme mandala king, etc. Now, in order to have more faith in the Joyful Vajra, the nature of bodhicitta, in order to approximately represent its causes and other states, with the inner yoga stable and the tummo abiding in the navel, the seed and bindu of the Joyful Vajra placed in the heart are properly combined, and for the purpose of explaining the inner self-nature fire offering of the burning of bodhicitta, it is said, the so-called tummo, etc. The first letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A), constantly abides in the navel, which is the Bhagavan Selfless Mother.
