It is also called the five aggregates. This is the Bodhi of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. These words indicate this meaning: The Shravakas and others see samsara as suffering, so they abandon it, and try to prevent future births. The Four Noble Truths should be practiced as a reliable basis. Among them, suffering should be understood, the origin should be abandoned, cessation should be realized, and the path should be cultivated. Therefore, the nature of the five aggregates should be examined. How should it be examined? For example, like disease and the cause of disease, freedom from disease and medicine. Among them, suffering is like disease, the origin is like the cause of disease, cessation is like freedom from disease, and the path is like medicine. In this way, by examining the Four Noble Truths, eight knowledges and eight patiences will arise. These are called sixteen moments. This is the appearance of wisdom that transcends the world, called the Path of Seeing. Since it is seeing what has not been seen, it is called the Path of Seeing. Since cessation is directly realized, it is called the Path. Among them, what is called a moment is: knowing the Dharma of suffering, the patience of knowing the Dharma of suffering, knowing the subsequent Dharma of suffering, the patience of knowing the subsequent Dharma of suffering, knowing the Dharma of the origin, the patience of knowing the Dharma of the origin, knowing the subsequent Dharma of the origin, the patience of knowing the subsequent Dharma of the origin, knowing the Dharma of cessation, the patience of knowing the Dharma of cessation, knowing the subsequent Dharma of cessation, the patience of knowing the subsequent Dharma of cessation, knowing the Dharma of the path, the patience of knowing the Dharma of the path, knowing the subsequent Dharma of the path, and the patience of knowing the subsequent Dharma of the path, sixteen in total. In this way, by cultivating the Path of Seeing in sequence, eighty-eight or so of the afflictions of the three realms that are to be abandoned by seeing will be abandoned. Among them, the twelve to be abandoned by seeing suffering are: viewing as permanent, viewing as self, viewing as annihilation, viewing as destructible aggregates, viewing adherence to ethics and vows as supreme, doubt, and

Attachment and hatred, pride and ignorance. The seven to be abandoned by seeing the origin are constantly looking at the above, clinging to self, and abandoning the view of the destroyed aggregates, so the seven to be abandoned by seeing the origin. What should be abandoned by seeing the cessation is the same as this. The six to be abandoned by seeing the path are attachment, hatred, pride, ignorance, precepts, and asceticism as the best, and doubt. The thirty-two things to be abandoned by seeing in the desire realm, and the four things to be abandoned by meditation, will not be born in the desire realm if they are abandoned. Doubt and attachment, hatred, pride, and ignorance. Apart from these, thirty-one things to be abandoned by seeing those born in the form realm should be abandoned. The formless realm is the same as this. Abandoning the eighty-eight things to be abandoned by seeing, etc., is to be separated from the cause of birth in the three realms. Being separated from it is called being separated from attachment to the three realms. This is called the Buddha of the Hearers and the Buddha of the Solitary Realizer. Because they are free from defilements, they will not be born in samsara. Therefore, it is called Nirvana. It's like a fire going out. What is the difference between Hearers and Solitary Buddhas? After hearing the Perfect Enlightenment, the Hearers will also become the Perfect Enlightenment. They preach the Dharma through these ways to subdue sentient beings. Because they are urged to listen by others, they are called Hearers. The Solitary Realizer Buddha is called the Solitary Realizer because he first received the hearing himself and realized Bodhi without relying on the teachings of others. They abandon preaching through words, but use body language to settle sentient beings in the ten virtues. Its meaning is that one understands by oneself without relying on the teachings of others, and one becomes a Buddha oneself, so his wisdom is very profound. Therefore, it is called Solitary Realizer. Clinging to the five aggregates as self and what belongs to me is called clinging to the view of permanence. Like this, the aggregates, etc. Clinging to what is selfless as self, and clinging to the view of permanence is called clinging to self.
