Ro. The commentary on the fifth chapter of Padmamukula Vajra's "Hevajra Tantra," which explains the order of manifestation, is complete. Sixth, Explanation of the Chapter on Painted Image Rituals In order to teach the unsurpassed Dharma, this king of tantras is spoken. Therefore, the method of accomplishing painted images is not reasonable. That which is spoken in other tantras is spoken for the sake of those who are attached to external appearances. Its meaning is: For those who are attached to the external, painted images and the like are spoken for their sake. The response to this is that yogis who abide in other tantras, being attached to the external, upon seeing painted images moving, etc., will say, "My accomplishment is near." If a yogi abiding in this [tantra] paints a painted image as the Tathagata has spoken, the yogi's face, hands, etc., will not be confused. By seeing it, the yoga will also become familiar. The Tathagatas will also bless [him]. Thus, the accomplishment of the Great Seal will be attained. Therefore, the method of accomplishing painted images will not become a fault. Nor will there be attachment to external appearances. The commentary on the sixth chapter of Padmamukula Vajra's "Hevajra Tantra," which explains the order of bodily images, is complete. Seventh, Explanation of the Chapter on Food Twelve fingers are spoken of in order to put [food] into the hands, etc. Here, all the Dharmas are spoken of in brief. Wisdom is not the nature of elaboration. Sentient beings who abide in elaboration will not understand the higher state. Therefore, sentient beings who abide in elaboration, not having seen the book, will say that this is not the word of the Tathagata. If a person without vows slanders the words that enable one to understand the correct Dharma, he will be born in hell. If a yogi shows the precious words of the Tathagata to a person without vows, the vows will be broken, and therefore the accomplishment of the Great Seal will not be attained. Its meaning is shown by [statements] such as, "There is no accomplishment in this life." The so-called assembly mandala is presided over by the guru, with countless disciples.
