The suchness of non-existent, perfectly complete enlightenment, realizing it as inseparable from its essence, becomes supremely wondrous, this is obtaining wonder. The so-called "fainting" means abiding in the samadhi of non-conceptualization, which is the nature of inseparability and great bliss, whereby all mind and mental events faint, that is, become extremely unmoving. The so-called "fear" means that the ultimate end of samsara is itself naturally nirvana, and is said to be the supreme great seal of victory, because those with inferior faculties cannot comprehend it, and it is difficult for the mind to enter, hence the fear. The so-called "falling to the ground" means that by obtaining the suchness of the Dharma that completely cuts off the aggregates, etc., along with karmic imprints, one is frightened and all limbs fall to the ground. The so-called "trembling" means that by hearing the Dharma of Hevajra, which is completely beyond all worlds and is the supreme, secret, difficult, and unsurpassed swift path, one will obtain eighteen great signs such as trembling. Furthermore, these extremely difficult to obtain and inconceivable Dharmas are endowed with an equal share, and having explained one's own nature as it is, one obtains its life and begins to beg, that is, "earth" etc. The nature of earth, water, wind, and fire is sister. The so-called "goddess" is a Tibetan word. The nature is unknowable by anyone. Hearing its exposition is the instruction. The summary of the meaning previously stated is the saying "Sentient beings are indeed Buddhas," etc., which is the nature of self-nature nirvana and the inseparable Dharmakaya. If one is already enlightened by nature, then wouldn't recitation and meditation, etc., become meaningless? The answer is: "Obscured by sudden defilements." That is, the sudden obscurations that give rise to karma and afflictions make one's own nature unclear. By striving through meditation and recitation, etc., one shows that Buddhahood is achieved through the supreme means and the nature of wisdom.

If one wonders how a mind that is pure in its nature can become stained, it is not so. Just as the sky is empty in its nature, yet it becomes stained by dust, moisture, and clouds, etc., so too, this jewel of the mind is pure in its nature, but from beginningless time, due to the habit of clinging to self and what belongs to self from one life to another, it becomes stained. As it is said: 'Among this assembly of sentient beings, there is not a single sentient being who does not possess the wisdom of all the Tathagatas, yet they cling to names and terms, and therefore do not realize the wisdom of the Tathagatas. When one is liberated from all names and terms, the self-born wisdom of the Tathagata will be revealed without obstruction.' The phrase 'If one eats potent poison' means that potent poison is a special kind of poison that causes intoxication and confusion when ingested. 'Who?' refers to someone who does not know the world. 'Does not know the world' refers to someone who lacks antidotes such as mantras. 'Free from delusion and knowing the truth' means that someone who knows the truth of antidotes such as mantras is free from delusion and knows the truth. 'He will be liberated from it' means that someone who knows the truth will be liberated from the delusion of the poison of samsara, and not otherwise. This is the order just explained. 'Knowing skillful means and wisdom, and especially comprehending them, his samsara will be reversed.' 'He has done the Hevajra on himself.' This refers to the ultimate comprehension that has come from one lama to another. 'Ignorance, etc.' means not being grasped by the aggregates of suffering that extend from ignorance to old age and death. 'Delusion, etc., are also not bonds' means that self and what belongs to self, as well as happiness and suffering, etc., are also not bound by the snares of delusion, etc. 'Not a Buddha' etc., means that there is not a single sentient being who does not possess Buddha-nature. Why? Because it is said 'Because' etc. 'Bodhi' means

By mere self-awareness, all these manifest in their nature as non-inverted enlightenment, which is the nature encompassing all sentient beings. How then will beings transmigrate? Therefore it is said, the so-called hells and so on, the meaning of which is that, due to the transformation of non-virtuous actions, places like hells are entwined with extremely unbearable burning fire. Their very nature, at all times, their essence has transcended suffering, and in the state of great bliss, is inseparable from the nature of the Dharmakaya. The reason for saying "not knowing bliss" is that, if one does not rely on the names of gods and so on, one cannot comprehend the nature of bliss free from elaboration. Therefore, the Tathagatas also apply names. From any other world and so on, apart from the nature of the supreme mind, from any other world, no Buddha-nature can be found. Therefore it is said, the so-called mind-nature and so on, the mind-nature that is naturally luminous, free from the defilements of desire and so on, becomes enlightened. Butchers, bamboo craftsmen, and so on, the meaning of which is that, even those who constantly engage in rough work like butchers, if they encounter a virtuous friend who has entered the path of Hevajra, then all the nets of discrimination, before long, will attain the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Children who are ignorant and obscured and so on, not understanding karma and its results, the truths, and the Three Jewels, being deluded by the prior grasping of self and what belongs to self, and not pleasing the lama, is the nature of children. Therefore, because they do not understand the path that has just been shown, they wander in the transmigrations of above and below. Obtaining the means of Hevajra, the meaning of which is, to completely purify those things such as form of the means of Hevajra that quickly perfect enlightenment, is
