The most excellent yogis perfect Buddhahood. This mudra generates fear in others with inferior faith, hence it is the form of fear. "Abandoning the nurse," and so forth, are for those who have mastered true wisdom. In order to familiarize all aspects with selflessness, the form is completely transformed as desired. The mudra as shown, and the preliminary practice of meditating on the generation stage, will enable one to instantly realize and comprehend all dharmadhatu and the nature of beings, so it should be understood. Regarding the nature of accomplishment, It is said. "Birth," and so forth, wisdom and means are emptiness, and the mind of the nature of compassion. "Deathless" means it is neither increased by birth nor destroyed by cessation. Because means are arising, "Why are means arising?" refers to means as taking near the meaning of manifest desire, abiding in all sentient beings and truly arising, hence it is arising, which is great compassion. "Absorption" refers to being absorbed because it becomes completely invisible in the manner of dharmadhatu. "Wisdom achieves the ultimate" refers to eliminating all perversions. "Therefore, it is not destroyed by fear" means that the nature of the completion stage, known as means and wisdom, is liberated from all perversions, and the body accomplished by inconceivable compassion has no fear because existence is ceased. That is the meaning. "In that very nature, there is no birth" means that the true nature is inconceivable emptiness, and the nature of compassion, like space, is unconditioned, and therefore there is no birth because there is no cause. Therefore, the means and wisdom of birth and destruction are not bonds. "Any fear," and so forth, "any" refers to any. "Destruction" refers to being free from cause and condition. "Absorption" refers to the complete transformation of the continuum. "Without outflows" does not mean without things. Through the yoga of the generation stage.

Knowing is the aggregates, elements, and sense bases that precede the complete transformation of seeds, cushions, and signs, which are the pure assembly of deities, that is, its elaboration. Elaboration is like a dream, because the aggregates and so on are not true in the ultimate sense, just like a dream. Those that are completely established are also merely showing the nature of the antidote to ordinary pride, but they are not true. To make elaboration without elaboration by words is to realize that all dharmas are the nature of great bliss without distinction by meditating on elaboration, and to contemplate the nature of mantras and deities and so on in emptiness, which is liberation from the elaboration of all natures. This is the meaning of what is said. What is "without elaboration"? If it is said that the nature of elaboration does not exist, then it is without elaboration, no, because that itself is elaboration. Thinking that the nature of elaboration does not exist, why is it established as without elaboration? How can elaboration be spoken of in that way? Because if the nature of something disappears, it cannot be called the nature of that thing. Therefore, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-s, who meditate on elaboration, should be seen as supremely gathering the suchness of mantras, which is the non-elaboration of ultimate truth. It is also said: That is mantra recitation, asceticism, etc., that is fire offering, mandala, in short, it is mind-collected nature. Like an illusion, it is not born and destroyed as children think, but the power of untrue causes and conditions, appearing as birth and so on. Like a dream, it is truly transformed from one's own mind alone, not relying on other causes. That's what it says. Like the intermediate state, for, the previous existence is the past, not taking the existence to be born, this is the intermediate state, separated from karma and afflictions, the nature of self-awareness is very clear, it is the nature of being unobstructed, including good and non-good, it is the nature of tending towards the state of no obscuration.

For example, one must definitely meditate on the wheel of the mandala, that is its meaning. It is said that the nature of all dharmas is perfectly summarized by the nature of great bliss. In "black is also bliss" and so on, when experiencing bliss accordingly, one does not fixate on black and so on as being different. Otherwise, it itself would become the nature of the meaning of black and so on. Therefore, that great bliss itself is the very nature of the indivisibility of all three realms. So, what is that great bliss itself like? In "born from intercourse," it means the great bliss without outflows born from the union of skillful means and wisdom. In "actual bliss," the object is blissful by its very nature of self-awareness. "Bliss without object" is the bliss without object because the apprehended and so on are not established. "Vajrasattva is said to be bliss," which means that Vajrasattva is also the very nature of bliss, and there is no other body of Vajrasattva that is different from bliss. That is its meaning. In "completion stage yoga," that is non-meditation, because it is the nature of mere non-remaining wisdom. Therefore, it is said, "Completion is non-meditation." The meaning here is that the nature of being completely free from all perversions, the nature of great bliss in which all dharmas are indivisible, is also perfected by the non-conceptual wisdom, the dharmadhatu. So, what is the need for the generation stage? The generation stage is elaboration with the nature of the complete transformation of seeds and so on as a precursor. From the conceptualizations of the meditator and the object of meditation, and meditation and so on, the suchness itself does not truly arise. Therefore, what is there to cling to? It is unnecessary, that is its meaning. The Blessed One said, "Emaho" and so on, "Ema" means wonderful. Why? Because it is said, "the power of faith" and so on. The power of faith is merely faith. Destruction means being far from the path of mantra, touching those beings.
