That which is called "shaking" should be said to be a branch of life exertion. Then, that which is called "holding" refers to the great power of life and the mandala of water, fire, and wind, entering into the navel, heart, throat, and forehead, not going outward, but injecting life into the bindu, which should be said to be a branch of holding. Then, that which is called "recollection" refers to seeing the deity of one's desire, being free from the discrimination of the form of an image, and from that, the nature of not emitting many rays of light, which is the mandala of light, and from that, the nature of emitting many forms, which is to delight the three realms, which should be said to be a branch of recollection. Then, that which is called "samadhi" refers to obtaining unchanging bliss from the subsequent attachment to the desired deity, and from that, making the mind one, the mind being held, and being separated from holding, which is a branch of the samadhi of the Tathagatas and others. Here, the six-branch yoga is briefly explained, and in order to widely attain the accomplishment of Mahamudra, yogis should understand it from the oral instructions of the guru, in the Abhisamayalankara or the Supreme First Buddha. The words of the glorious First Buddha are also like this: Gathering separately, the yogi is separated from objects and appearances, and all mantras bless him. He will obtain the five supernormal powers, and as the lord of men, he is purified through meditative union. Purified by the exertion of life, he is separated from the sun and moon, and is worshiped by the Bodhisattvas. Demons and afflictions, etc., will enter into the ten powers, through the power of holding. If recollection is well purified, then the mandalas of stainless light will also come from the eye of wisdom. Then, if purified by samadhi, then in a few days, the wisdom body will be accomplished. Thus it is. As the Bhagavan said: The so-called "what should be known by oneself," etc., is the extensive explanation of this word. As it is said in the glorious Stainless Light: If children say this, if the wisdom of the Tathagata is self-aware, then why does the Tathagata say that all dharmas are without self-nature? To this it should be said, here

That which is called the wisdom of the Tathagata realizing that all dharmas are without inherent existence is not a mind that is completely asleep, characterized by the absence of all things. It is also stated in the glorious Perfection of Wisdom Sutra: "Subhuti, whatever mind there is, that mind is not a mind, it is called naturally luminous." It is also stated in the glorious True Name Sutra: Abandoning the meaning of all concepts, Causing the function of consciousness to cease, All sentient beings possess mind, All sentient beings possess consciousness, All sentient beings abide in mind, Those are all equal in nature to mind. It is also said that if the wisdom of the Tathagata does not become self-awareness, then the Tathagata will not teach the Dharma according to the thoughts of sentient beings, because all dharmas are not fully understood and there is no true knowledge. If it is self-awareness through the door of the senses, then it will not become indivisible, all-pervading, and all-encompassing, because all obscurations exist. Therefore, the wisdom of the Tathagata is self-awareness, knowing the nature of all dharmas, non-conceptual, without senses. It is also said: Beginningless, without elaboration, self, Suchness, pure, pure self. It is also said: The self-stealer, the self-maker. And so on. It is also said: The stealer is the nature of the alaya-vijnana, the moment of the transformation of the bodhicitta, the co-emergent joy, which is the conventional truth. Thus, the agent and action of the moment of transformation, and the agent who gathers karma, here transform into another, whoever is the agent of expansion is not the agent. Therefore, pervading space, the vajra-holder of space, devoid of objects, without qualities, without inherent existence. This is the co-emergent body. Indivisible, all-pervading, all-encompassing, Subtle, stainless seed, And completely liberated from all substances, Abiding perfectly on the path of space. Therefore, the agent of expansion and contraction also does not have the nature of nirvana, this is its meaning. Thus, the definitive understanding of the exhaustion of the agent. It is also said in the glorious First Buddha Sutra: Therefore, agent, ah.

Moreover, neither giving nor taking away the happiness and suffering of any living beings, whatever three realms of samsara are created, the past karma will give abundant results. The creator of arising and accumulating gives, while that one takes away, this is the wisdom of the ignorant. Immeasurable good deeds on the body are taken away, but one's own senses do not see the taker. "Self is the creator" and so on, meaning spreading, that is, spreading existence. "Taker" means accumulator. "King" means without spreading and without taking away, liberated from spreading and accumulating, abiding in self-nature, clear like the moon, therefore is the king. It is said: "The Dharma is independent, the King of Dharma, the teacher of the good path." Even with just this much, it is shown that only the mind can be liberated from suffering, and only the mind is samsara. It is also said in the glorious Vajra Peak Tantra: "What is the meaning of samsara? How do children arise, and repeatedly revolve? That is also the powerful lord of samsara, I am, self is the lord. What is the transcendence beyond suffering?" It is said: "What is the emptiness to be distinguished? It completely abandons self-nature. Characterized by the nature of things, even the characteristics are completely abandoned. Speech sounds or what is taken, conceptual dust particles do not exist. Therefore, by the name of Nirvana, I am the lord of beings." In the glorious Hevajra Tantra, from the condensed essence of Vajra words, the eighth chapter, the chapter of the Mother of No-Self, in the difficult commentary. The ninth chapter, the chapter of complete purification. Now, from "besides that" and so on, the purity of suchness and difference is explained. First, the purity of suchness is proclaimed. It is said in the glorious Vajra Peak Tantra: "It is said in the glorious Vajra Peak Tantra, what is purity? It is neither existent nor non-existent, neither a thing nor a non-thing, there is no speaker and no spoken, purity is Nirvana itself." "All things" and so on, meaning that the objects of external and internal conceptualizations are all equality. Pure suchness, that is, just like that, constantly abiding in suchness, that is suchness, self-nature is without defilement, constantly pure.
