I said, the great hero's collection of teachings, eighty-four thousand in number, if there are those who do not understand these, then they will not have any result. This is because, without obtaining that precious jewel, there will never be accomplishment. Even if the field is completely pure, it is like a sprout without a seed. It should be clearly explained that "essence is formless" and so on. The essence is what can be known by oneself, which is the wisdom of the Tathagata. Because of this essence, and the functions of what is taken and what takes, and because what takes is separated from the eighteen realms, yogis do not see the external formless, there is no eye consciousness, likewise, there is no hearer, no sound, no ear consciousness. Likewise, there is no smell, no smeller, no nose consciousness. Likewise, there is no taste, no taster, no tongue consciousness. Likewise, there is no touch, no toucher, no body consciousness. Likewise, there is no dharma realm, no clinging one, no mind consciousness. Therefore, the eyes and so on also do not exist. Therefore, the precious suchness that is separated from the eighteen realms should be meditated upon by the yogi. It is also said in the glorious Prajnaparamita: Do not abide in form, do not abide in feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Do not abide in the earth element, do not abide in the water element, the fire element, the wind element, and the emptiness element. It is also said here: There is no supreme object to be meditated upon, and there is no meditator, there is no body, there is no object to be taken, and there is no taker, and so on. Therefore, one should truly observe that all dharmas are without self. All the natures of inner and outer are emptiness. It is also said in the glorious Root Tantra: The Bhagavan said: By stopping the changing ignorance, action will definitely cease. By stopping action, consciousness will cease. By stopping consciousness, name and form will cease. By stopping name and form, the six sense sources will cease. By stopping the six sense sources

By contact, it also causes it to cease. When contact ceases, feeling also inevitably ceases. When feeling ceases, craving also inevitably ceases. When craving ceases, grasping also inevitably ceases. When grasping ceases, existence also inevitably ceases. When existence ceases, birth also inevitably ceases. When birth ceases, old age and death inevitably cease. When the aggregates and elements are completely ceased, that is called the state of perfect peace. Thus it is said. In the Glorious Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, in the chapter on Scattering Flowers, it is also said: "Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva directly realizes the inexhaustible Perfection of Wisdom, and contemplates dependent origination, at that time he does not truly see ignorance. Likewise, actions are not, consciousness is not, name and form are not, the six sense sources are not, contact is not, feeling is not, craving is not, grasping is not, existence is not, birth is not, old age and death are not, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, distress, and agitation are also not truly seen." Thus it is said. Thus, by ceasing suffering, distress, and agitation, the body can also be ceased. By ceasing the body, life can also be ceased. By ceasing life, the mind of enlightenment can also be ceased. By ceasing the mind of enlightenment, transmigration can also be ceased. By ceasing the moment of transmigration, it is the Buddhahood of the yogis. Thus, by ceasing afflictions, karma is also ceased. By ceasing karma, suffering is also ceased. By ceasing suffering, afflictions will not arise. Since there is no arising of afflictions, karma will certainly not arise. Waking, dreaming, and deep sleep, these four states, whenever cause and effect cease, there is no doubt that it is the state of Buddhahood. Now, in order to accomplish this, the conventional mudra will be spoken. In the Glorious Abbreviated Tantra, it is also said: "The mother who gives birth, and the sister, the daughter and the daughter of the sister, with the ritual of wisdom and means, the yogi always worships with intelligence." Thus and so on. Yoga means
