It is said that Dharma arises, and it is also called the lotus palace of the queen. In the center of it is the lotus seed, with petals, pistils, and stamens. There, the Ali and Kali evolve, and the eight categories abide in order. They perform all kinds of actions, and are embodied by the form of secret mantras. The fifty letters themselves, those that abide in the Vedas and so on, are the nature of the mudras, the tantras, and the external scriptures. The nature of these Vajra essences is not at all separate from the body. The joyful fifty letters of the groups of A, Ka, Tsa, Tha, Ta, Pa, Ya, and Sha are equal. The Vajra-playing lotus seeds are recognized in the eight directions on each petal. In the center of these, in the lotus stamens, is the supreme Lord. It is surrounded by the eight categories. It is also the supreme letter. A is the supreme of all letters, the guide of the letter of great meaning, and all the mantras of embodied beings arise from it. Thus it is said. It is also said to be the supreme cause of all speech, the most radiant of all words. Likewise, it is also said in the Ornament of the Glorious Vajra Essence: In the center of the heart, indestructible, like a burning lamp, unchanging, supremely subtle, the sacred A is the chief. Thus it is said. It is also said in the Glorious True Utterance of Names: The lamp of beings, the lamp of wisdom, great splendor, radiant light, supreme king of knowledge, lord of mantras, king of secret mantras, accomplishing great meaning. Thus it is said. All the Buddhas'

The number nine is the subsequent suffix, connected with 'A' to combine correctly with each other. Whatever is the wisdom and mind of beings, it is also said in the subsequent Glorious Gathering, with the ritual of the way of wisdom, from the combination of the four periods, the limbs of mantra are inseparable, reciting what is to be signified, devoid of characteristics. Thus it is said. It is also said in the Tantra of Great Yoga, the Two-Without-Other, Equal, Universally Victorious: From consciousness, it truly arises. Having recited six hundred thousand secret mantras, having prostrated to Vajrasattva, it will be accomplished on the full moon. Thus it is said. The meaning of this is this: It is also said in the Supreme Glorious First Buddha: The nature of great bliss is to be expressed by the sound of a fish. Others are those with interruptions in meditation, all actions of expanding and contracting. And so on. For that, there is no explanation of asceticism. There are no mantras and malas. There are no actions of holding and fire offerings. Everything merges into others and others. Yoga meditation is with interruptions. External recitation should be abandoned. The meaning of mantra is Bhagavan Vajradhara. How to recite the nature of Vajra? Thus it is said. It is also said: Arising from the great way of secret mantra, it is the nature of the great way of secret mantra. Thus it is said. Like an elephant once found immediately, like searching for the footprints of an elephant, if one's own self is the actual body of mantra, then what else is there to search for? This clarifying the suchness of mantra is the method of accomplishment of speech vajra. With the distinction of the three wisdoms, it is definitely combined with mind-only. Thus it is said. It is also said in the Glorious Tantra of Explaining Intentions: Whatever letters were previously explained, and whatever directions appear, woman, man, hermaphrodite, having thoroughly examined the essence and so forth, correctly combine below and above. If you know and understand, combine there. The recitation that follows the meaning is, with the beauty of no-self-nature, abiding in the state of hermaphrodite, the limbs of mantra exist inseparably. It is also said in the Glorious Lankavatara: Great wisdom, Bodhisattva Mahasattva should rely on meaning, not rely on words and syllables. Great wisdom, son or daughter of lineage, following words and syllables will degenerate themselves and will not realize the ultimate truth.

It will not change. Great wisdom is like this: some people point slightly with the tip of their finger at something, and they show that the tip of the finger itself is what to look at. Likewise, those with great wisdom, those who are childish, individual beings with the nature of seeking wisdom, will cling to the literal tip of the finger, and will only spend their time in that clinging. They will not abandon the literal tip of the finger to seek the ultimate meaning. In the chapter on the discipline of the glorious Prajñāpāramitā, it is also said: Subhuti, for example, if the life force of a person ceases, then all the senses will cease. Subhuti, similarly, if a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, while studying the Prajñāpāramitā, ignorance ceases, then all non-virtuous dharmas will cease. Apart from that, all the pāramitās will also be included within and completely grasped. Therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva who desires meaning should arise, and therefore should abandon the inverted, literal clinging to meaning. That is the meaning. It is also said: Having understood this, the mantra practitioner should act like a child. In this way, mantras will be accomplished, from the non-discriminating dharma. In the glorious Immaculate Light, it is also said: Here, in the way of mantras, whatever mother mantras of the nature of fierce deeds are well spoken by the lord of the three realms, all of those are the camp of demons, causing decline and destruction, never for sentient beings. Here, of the demons, whoever is the maker of memories, delights in the battlefield, is a killer, and also other heretics. In the glorious First Buddha, it is also said: For those who consider lineage as a measure, the lord of men considers the Vedas as a measure. For those who consider the Vedas as a measure, sacrifice is certainly the measure in the abode of the earth. For those who consider sacrifice as a measure, harming many cattle and people becomes the measure. For those who consider harm as a measure, the fear of hell, sin becomes the measure.
