If someone doubts, "What should Heruka do then?" To this, the scripture mentions, "Things themselves are liberation," etc. Because of arising, it is a thing, that is, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, etc. Precisely because of this, things themselves will be liberated, but not through the aggregates, etc., or through the absence of things. If things themselves are liberated, then how will beings be liberated? And how will they be bound? If someone doubts this, the scripture says, "Bound by the bonds of things," etc. Being bound by the bonds of things means being attached to things, just as the consciousness of the grasper and the grasped binds. If one is bound by the bonds of things, then will not being bound itself lead to liberation? If someone doubts this, the scripture says, "Liberation comes from fully understanding it." Fully understanding it means fully understanding things. Because of fully understanding things, it is said to be fully understanding it. If that is so, then how does one fully understand it? If someone doubts this, the scripture says, "Meditating on things, becoming wise," etc. Being wise means having the vajra heart. Meditating on things means striving to fully understand things, therefore, through the wisdom that distinguishes between dharma and meaning, one should meditate on the things to be meditated upon, that is the meaning. If one does this, what will happen? The scripture says, "The non-existence of things," etc. Therefore, one should also meditate on the non-existence of things, and not just on things themselves. Therefore, it is precisely the full understanding of things themselves. However, because it is separate from one and division, therefore, because of no self-nature, one fully understands the non-thingness of things. If one fully understands the non-thingness of things in this way, then the non-existence of things itself is supreme, and meditating on it slightly is supreme, then what is meditating on things? If someone doubts this, in order to answer the question, the scripture says, "To dispel the thoughts of attachment to self of those who deviate from various views and those who seek the view of self, the teachers, the victorious ones, have spoken it. If emptiness is the method, then at that time, one will not become a Buddha."

Since the result is not a different cause, the means are not emptiness. This is me, the teacher with thirty-two marks, mainly possessing eighty minor marks. How can one accomplish it with different causes? Then Vajragarbha inquired. At that time, the Bhagavan was obstinate. The Bhagavan said: I am not obstinate. What is the reason for that? I am mirror-like wisdom. Vajragarbha inquired: What is mirror-like wisdom? Vajradhara said: It is not true, not false, not abandoned, not accepted. Thus, I am equality and so on. Therefore, it is not formless enlightenment. Vajragarbha inquired: At that time, you are the nature of fabrication. And so on. Vajradhara said: It is not like that. Just as the images in mirrors are meaningless, and completely abandon the truth, similarly, the wheel of the mandala cannot be overcome by fabrication. Therefore, Heruka should be practiced. It means that Heruka, who possesses the nature of things and non-things, should be practiced. It is also said: The thing is me, the non-thing is also me, the Tathagata who is liberated in the beginning, the best among the formless and the formed, possessing a deep and vast nature. In order to understand the distinctions spoken of therein, great wisdom dwells in the body. And so on, because it dwells in the body, it dwells in the body. If it is not in the body, it will not become an object of focus. Therefore, the cause of the body should be taken, otherwise, if it is not fully understood, wisdom will not dwell. In the spoken tantra it is said: One's own body is the Buddha, outside the body is also the Buddha, nothing else dwells anywhere, it is said to be obscured by ignorance. In order to abandon this single aspect, pervading all things. And so on. This is to make one fully believe in the wisdom in the body, in order to inquire about the cause of what was said, how many channels are there in the Vajra body, etc. The Vajra body is Hevajra's
