If it must be determined, however, the mind is autonomous. 'Doing' means expanding, causing it to expand. 'Seizing' means collecting. 'King' means neither expanding nor collecting, being liberated from expansion and collection, abiding in the nature of liberation, appearing as clear as the moon, therefore it is the king. Thus, the nature of mind is nirvana, and the nature of mind is samsara, so it is declared. It is also said: 'Oppressed by the darkness of many conceptualizations, extremely destroyed and driven mad and transformed, stained by the hard-to-resist stains of attachment and so on, the mind is said by Vajradhara to be samsara. The mind that is luminous and liberated from conceptualization, abandoning being stained by stains such as attachment, the supreme mind without grasping and grasper, that itself is said to be the supreme nirvana.' So it is said. Since desire and so on are the nature of the mind, therefore, how can it be used to entice it? With what can one suppress existence and non-existence, and doubt that it is the king? All of these find joy in it. So it is said. All of these refer to desire and so on. That place is the place of co-emergence. 'Feeling happy' means the collection of splendor that is able to suppress everything. Desire is taste. Hatred is sound. Jealousy is touch. Ignorance is form. Pride is appearance. Those are the reasons for necessarily making offerings, so they are enjoyed and are capable like offerings. 'Not capable' means not capable of making offerings. 'One-sixteenth part' means the one-sixteenth part of the moon that is completely abandoned, which is wisdom. 'Not tolerating that,' and 'the mind that does not completely abide in that,' means not saying anything. Here the meaning is: objects such as form and sound are enjoyment. The enjoyer is the Bhagavan, who is the king of the mind. Therefore, desire and so on cannot entice it, and whatever returns to desire through the power of practice, nothing can entice it, this refers to this meaning. In order to realize that, it is declared 'arising from the Dharmadhatu' and so on, the appearance of sound and image.

Like that, from where does that which accords with the Dharma arise? The source of the Dharma is the Bhagavan Mother, which is wisdom. That which arises from that (wisdom) is born from the source of the Dharma, the wisdom that is particularly superior due to distinctions such as being equal to space. As for "together with skillful means," together with skillful means refers to the mind of enlightenment together with skillful means, because one practices together with the skillful means of various distinctions such as the yoga of the lama and the deity, and the great joy of empowerment. That which is together with that is that which follows after it, and also the wisdom that is endowed with that. Even if skillful means exist, without realizing meditation, such wisdom as this will not be accomplished, therefore, meditation itself is the skillful means for accomplishing wisdom here. Whoever certainly obtains the taste of play that is found by one's own long wisdom, being separated from mindfulness, because it is enjoyed by other things, that which is not seduced by inverted enjoyment is meditation. Again it is said: "Here there is not the slightest action, nor is there an enjoyer. Freed from the doer and the enjoyer, that is ultimate meditation." Thus it is said. Whatever is the increase of wisdom that is particularly superior in the qualities that are spoken of, since one should seek skillful means such as the lama in order to manifest this wisdom, doubting this, it is said, "Born from the three worlds." Praising that from which one alone is born, then, from where the three worlds are born, how could that not be particularly superior? Although it is so, because that is also incapable. Doubting that from that which has only wisdom as its skillful means, let alone the generation of many, there is not even one, it is said, "From the nature of skillful means and wisdom." This wisdom is merely skillful means, however, it is the nature of skillful means and wisdom, one looks at the arising of things through skillful means and wisdom. Therefore, that which was said is not false in that way. That is what is intended. In the single body that encompasses everything, there is no contradiction even in multiplicity. Again it is said: "That is said to be non-dual wisdom, this is the supreme mind of enlightenment, this is the Perfection of Wisdom."
