The commentary on 《 कौमुदी 》, named 《Bright Moon》. The commentary on 《 कौमुदी 》 Named 《Bright Moon》 Commentary on the First Chapter First, the chapter on the Vajra Family. In Sanskrit: Kaumudi Panjika Nama (梵文天城体:कौमुदी पञ्चिका नाम,梵文罗马拟音:kaumudī pañcikā nāma,Literal meaning: Kaumudi Commentary). In Tibetan: The commentary on 《 कौमुदी 》. Homage to Hevajra! Eight diseases such as elephants and horses, holding eight hands, and the remaining eight hands on the left. The eight perfections of power, holding wealth in the first order of power. In the cloudless sky, the half-moon of August, suppressing the dew, with a garland of skull cups. The branches of the hands, the crown of flowers on the head, Heruka, may you protect me! Bodhisattva Vajragarbha, etc. The realm of supreme practice, Hevajra. This is by the power of the Guru. I will also explain. Stained by the impurity of evil names, the remainder of the name. Whatever is obscured by darkness, the lotus garden is no different. From the obscuration, that Kaumudi is similar, this Kaumudi then. Will gather the path of Hevajra's words. This word particle "thus," from "thus I," etc. Until the final tantra of "having said thus." "I" refers to the collector Vajragarbha. "Hearing" refers to habituation. From where is it heard? "Bhagavan" refers to hearing from the Bhagavan. "Dwelling" refers to hearing from the place of abiding. By the connection of hearing, to completely transform and distinguish, the meaning of the fifth is the first. Or, what is heard by the proclaimer Vajradhara is hearing. Here, the Bhagavan Vajradhara, even in one. By the nature of all, for the sake of many forms, this is what should be proclaimed, and there is no contradiction between the proclaimer and what is proclaimed. Thus it is, there is no contradiction. Even in many, the Bhagavan himself should realize this here. "The proclaimer is me, the Dharma is also me. With my own retinue, the listener is me." Etc. Or, "Thus I have heard" refers to how the four syllables of Evam Maya (藏文:ཨེ་ཝཾ་མ་ཡཱ,梵文天城体:एवं माया,梵文罗马拟音:evaṃ māyā,Literal meaning: Thus Illusion) are perfectly accomplished, and thus it is connected to "Bhagavan dwells." The meaning is as follows: the nature of Evam Maya (藏文:ཨེ་ཝཾ་མ་ཡཱ,梵文天城体:एवं माया,梵文罗马拟音:evaṃ māyā,Literal meaning: Thus Illusion).

In that essence, the Bhagavan abides. Thus it is said. What is the essence of the letters E-Vam-Maya (ཨེ་ཝཾ་མ་ཡཱ)? One should speak of the essence of what is called the essence of the Bhagavan: E (ཨེ་) should be known as earth, the action mudra is also the eye-mother, great love, great skillful means, the mother of various forms generates various forms, in the sixty-four lotus petals, it abides in the wheel of manifestation. Vam (ཝཾ) should be known as water, the dharma mudra is Mamaki (མཱ་མ་ཀཱི), it is the aspect of compassion and aspiration, the goddess follows the Vajra family, in the eight lotus petals in the heart, it truly abides in the wheel of dharma. Ma (མ་) is said to be fire, the great mudra is the white-clad mother, with the union of joy and power, the goddess is born from the Padma family, in the sixteen lotus petals in the throat, it abides in the wheel of perfect enjoyment. Ya (ཡ་) is explained as wind, completely destroying all afflictions, that is the great samaya mudra, the goddess follows the Karma family, with equanimity and wisdom yoga, the Tara who liberates from samsara, in the thirty-two lotus petals, in the great wheel of great bliss. Thus, it is sealed with the four mudras. Abiding means residing. It is said here, the solid dharma is earth, moving is renowned as wind, because of wetness it is the water element, arising from movement is fire, and so on. Or, these E-Vam (ཨེ་ཝཾ) are skillful means and wisdom. It is also said, E (ཨེ) is the expression of wisdom, Vam (ཝཾ) is the accomplishment of skillful means, for women, E (ཨེ) makes them beautiful, it is adorned by Vam (ཝཾ), by equally merging above and below, skillful means and wisdom greatly increase, E (ཨེ) itself and Vam (ཝཾ) itself, each is spoken of as two. What I have heard, great desire, truly abides in this symbol. Thus it is. And when is this heard and abided? In order to determine the time, it is said "at one time," one time means not two, nor many. One means not together. Time means the moment. It also has three aspects: the time of happiness, the time of suffering, and the inconceivable time.
