The earth pervades beings, and true wisdom is inseparable from beings, that is its meaning. To solidify this with an example: Just like the fragrance residing in a flower, it cannot be understood from the real existence of the flower. Similarly, because form and other things have no real existence, the very attachment to happiness does not change. The fragrance residing in the flower is understood and comprehended, just as it is not from the real existence of the flower, so too, because the real existence of form and other things does not exist, happiness itself becomes the object of attachment. Therefore, not abiding in form is the very non-existence of the reality of form. The similarity is that there is a slight difference in existence, but it is not entirely the same. However, it should be understood through its own nature, that is, form itself is formlessness, and formlessness itself is form. Or, just like the fragrance residing in a flower, the knowledge of the fragrance is temporarily understood and comprehended as residing in the flower. The flower itself has not arisen from the very beginning, therefore preventing arising from non-existence. Fragrance and the knowledge of fragrance cannot be understood and comprehended, because there is no other knowledge that understands the knowledge of fragrance. Similarly, happiness also does not become the very object of true wisdom, it is only the nature of non-attachment. How so? Because form and other things have no real existence, the real existence of form and other things is the reality possessed by the nature of A, therefore the nature of form and other things is precisely selflessness. What does this say? The perfection stage has no meditation, this aspect is established. How is that? From understanding the generation stage, meaning that by completely abandoning the generation stage, there is only no perfection stage. Just like this: In this, there is nothing to be abandoned, nor is there anything to be established, truly seeing reality as it is, having truly seen it, one is liberated. This refers to the realization of truth, which is to ascertain and understand the nature of all phenomena without doubt. For those who possess temporary defilements, due to the power of ignorance, they are always unable to understand the true nature of things. While understanding the true nature of things, by completely eliminating ignorance, one can understand the true nature of things.

Neither of them is the realization of the thing itself. The realization of the thing itself is true wisdom. Therefore, I do not know the natures that have become like that, what kind of fault would there be. Therefore, in order to always remove the defilements of those who abide in ignorance, the generation stage called the completely pure object in the form of a deity is [performed]. Because it manifests instantaneously with equality, it is impossible to distinguish "this is this and that is that," and in this way, the completion stage will be attained. The complete purity of the deity and the complete purity of suchness are non-dual. Non-dual means they are distinct and inseparable. Someone says, "What is the need for the generation stage?" This is like the Vajra Essence request made by someone who has abandoned all virtuous friends and possesses the nature of decay. Alas, the power of faith has declined! This great Bodhisattva! This is what the Bhagavan thought in his heart. Furthermore, in order to personally indicate himself, the Bhagavan spoke of the great necessity of the generation stage: I (Tibetan: ང་,梵文天城体:अहं,梵文罗马拟音:ahaṃ,汉语字面意思:I) am the thing, without the thing, having become a Buddha in order to realize the thing. By means of the form of hands and face, I am temporarily the all-knowing thing, that is, the nature of the thing. Without the thing, I am, the form of hands and face is formless by its very nature. I am the Buddha, because I possess realization. If asked, how? Merely through the realization of the thing, one is called the all-knowing Buddha. Therefore, the realization of the generation stage itself is the meaning of ascertaining the completion stage. I) am the nature of the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ་,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A) and the letter Hum (Tibetan: ཧཾ་,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum), because it is the essence of wisdom and means. It itself is I (Tibetan: ང་,梵文天城体:अहं,梵文罗马拟音:ahaṃ,汉语字面意思:I) without the thing, because the two are without difference. I) am the Buddha, that is, knowing wisdom and means without separation. If asked, how? In order to realize the thing, there is no thing that is not the non-duality of the two, all things are merely the nature of wisdom and means. Therefore, whoever is struck by delusion.
