Sapa. For the meaning of "for what," there is also the particle "also." Because of vulgar habits, vulgar people do not understand. Those habits, that is, the cause, for that reason. Those who possess wisdom, those who say that the nature of semen, those vulgar people who possess face, hands, color, and shape, are never seen again. Why is this? Therefore, it is shown by example: A small piece of poison can cause all people to die. Those who know the truth of poison, use poison to pierce poison. For the time being, the power of poison is that merely eating it can cause all living beings to die. If one fully understands the truth of poison, one can use poison to pierce poison, that is, to eliminate it. This should be regarded as extraordinary. Furthermore, it is said: Just as when one is seized by wind, one should give food of Mon beans. Through the reversal that is considered medicine, wind can pacify wind. Being seized by wind disease, eating Mon beans will increase the harm. Therefore, one should give food of Mon beans, thereby pacifying his wind disease. Here, "through the reversal that is considered medicine" means that the reversal itself is medicine, because what causes harm can itself bring benefit. Benefit itself, due to not being skilled in method, through practice becomes harm. Harm itself, through practicing with skill in method, becomes benefit. That itself is said: Samsara is purified by samsara itself. Differentiating thoughts are practiced separately. Just as when water enters the ear, it is drawn out with water. Likewise, samsara and differentiating thoughts are also certainly purified by various means. Samsara is birth, the conventional truth. That samsara itself is pure, by birth itself, that is, realizing that the nature of birth is unborn. The conventional truth itself is called the ultimate truth. Differentiating thoughts refer to attachment to things, that is, practicing the conventional truth. That also through differentiating thoughts, through practicing each and every thought, that is, completely purifying from the form of the gods. Or what? Differentiating thoughts refer to non-differentiating wisdom, that is, the complete purification of suchness. Separately

“From distinctions” means from individual distinctions, that is, from the purity of the deities. The purity of the deities is the purity of suchness, meaning that the generation stage is the completion stage. Just as water enters the ear, other water will draw it out. Similarly, the nature of existence, that is, the nature of samsara, is definitely to be purified by the forms of the deities. When samsara, which is the nature of the aggregates such as form, is purified by the forms of the deities, it becomes extremely pure, becoming the nature of the dharmadhatu. This is the meaning. Other examples are also given. Just as what is scorched by boiling is burned again by nothingness. Similarly, what is scorched by the fire of desire should also be burned by the fire of desire. In the world, what is scorched by fire is burned by fire itself, so that those scorched by fire will be pacified. Similarly, desire is the characteristic of complete attachment. It itself is like a fire that causes suffering. Being scorched by it means becoming afflicted. The suffering of those afflictions should be pacified. By what is it pacified? By the fire of desire, that is, the fire of complete attachment, that is, by the pure complete attachment of the form of the deity. This is the meaning. “A piece of poison” refers to the fault caused by external objects, which is the characteristic of complete attachment to objects. “As if seized by the wind” and so on refer to the characteristic of the manifest clinging of the senses caused by the view of self. “As water enters the ear” and so on refer to the nature of outer and inner, both the object and the senses are the characteristics of complete attachment. “As what is scorched by boiling” is caused by the attachment of both, it is the characteristic of experiencing aspects such as happiness, and the nature of everything is only pure. One's own essence is nature, that is, my thing. What is the essence of a thing and what is its nature, therefore nature refers to the purity of conventional truth. The generation stage is the completion stage, and if one realizes this, everything is the very pure nature of the dharmadhatu, not
