Ma gcig, is that which is abandoned by these co-emergent (Lhan skyes). What is said, that which becomes impartial, that is Madhyamaka (dBu ma), that is merely joy (dGa' ba), the wisdom of bliss (bDe ba'i ye shes) is solely that. That is because it generates the root of the supreme joy (mChog dga') and so on. That is all that is common. That is also the fourth co-emergent, abandoned by these three. These three are also in that, because by its nature, it is completely absorbed in that. Because there is no close object, these are abandoned and completely discarded in various ways. The three joys are not other than the co-emergent, because everything belongs to its interior. Again, what? The supreme joy existing, what is the characteristic of true attachment, that is existence, the constant consciousness. Detachment from attachment is Nirvana, what is the characteristic of Nirvana detachment from attachment, that is also detachment from attachment, the drinker. Existence and Nirvana, what is completely abandoned by both constant and annihilation, that becomes the Madhyamaka intermediate. That is also merely the wisdom of joy, and only the object of the characteristic arises in that. What is co-emergent is the wisdom of the truly complete Buddha, now what is abandoned by these is the abandonment of permanence and annihilation, and so on. What is co-emergent, that is what arises together with these three. How is it? It is completely abandoned by special abandonment. By this co-emergent, it arises as the four joys, because of the nature of the four drops, the sixteen emptinesses completely purified are the wisdom of the co-emergent. "First joy hero" and other briefly shown four, and "Joy and happiness slightly" and other extensively explained four, and "First desire to touch" and other extremely extensively explained four, and "Supreme joy says existence" and other concluding four, the nature of the sixteen emptinesses, only the wisdom of the co-emergent. Therefore, the three joys such as joy, because they are not other than the co-emergent, therefore, by the nature of no difference, the co-emergent is the characteristic.

It is not the realm of names, not the nature of grasping and grasper, not the object of consciousness. Therefore, it is said: Others cannot express, co-emergent (lhan cig skyes). It cannot be found anywhere. By relying on the lineage of the Lama, I know it through merit. No one else can express it, because the co-emergent transcends the path of speech. It cannot be found anywhere in things, because it transcends the realm of what is grasped and what grasps. What I know should be realized by oneself. How is it? Merit means arising from the accumulation of merit. Because of that reason, one should rely on the lineage of the Lama. By relying on other Lamas, making them happy from that, one can understand through the kindness of the Lama. Therefore, from the accumulation of merit, it is said to be the accumulation of wisdom. Or, what I know should be experienced by oneself, the nature of one's own experience is co-emergent. Because for one's own nature, the action is contradictory. Self-awareness means very subtle, the co-emergent is not the object of consciousness, it means transcending speech, body and mind. If that is the case, how is it? Merit means arising from the accumulation of merit. Relying on the lineage of the Lama means arising from the habituation of the order of the Lama. This is separated from the five stages of manifest enlightenment, therefore one cannot find the true one. First, with omniscience, one is liberated from the eight worldly dharmas. Then there is the teaching, abandoning from that. What kind of thing is that? Conventional wisdom and ultimate wisdom arise without distinction, this is the order, because it arises through this order. For that, it is the pith instruction, whatever wisdom arises is that. All those give you the means of the great seal accomplishment. Permission is that you also, for the sake of the ultimate of bodhicitta, for the sake of the complete benefit of beings, should not completely abandon the power of faith, the power of mindfulness, the power of diligence, and the power of wisdom, all of them.
