This is the truth of conditioned mundane existence, the wisdom of Vajradhara. As previously stated, "Supreme Joy Yogini," this is the wisdom of that very Vajradhara. These two are the wisdom of inseparable nature. By the very nature of wisdom and means, the four joys are distinguished, but wisdom and means are also without difference, therefore the four joys are inseparable from the co-emergent wisdom. Therefore it is said, liberation from attachment is Nirvana. The characteristic of excellent attachment is the wisdom of the ultimate truth of the selfless mother, what is the inseparability of conditioned existence and Nirvana? Madhyamaka is merely joy, these are abandoned by the co-emergent. Thus, what is impartial is Madhyamaka, this is merely joy, only the wisdom of bliss. This is because it generates the root of supreme joy and so on, this is all common. This is also the fourth co-emergent joy, abandoned by these three. These three are also in it, because they are absorbed into it by its nature, without close attachment, therefore these are abandoned and completely discarded in various ways, but the three joys are not other than the co-emergent, because everything belongs to it. Or again, the supreme joy is conditioned existence, what is the nature of true attachment, that is conditioned existence, the constant consciousness. Liberation from attachment is Nirvana. The nature of Nirvana is without attachment, that is also liberation from attachment, the drinker. Conditioned existence and Nirvana, whatever has abandoned both permanence and annihilation, is the Madhyamaka middle way. That is also merely the wisdom of joy, and in that, only the object of signs arises. What is co-emergent is the wisdom of perfect and complete enlightenment, now these have been abandoned, that is, abandoning permanence, annihilation, and so on. What is co-emergent is co-emergent with these three. How? It is abandoned by completely abandoning with distinction. By this, the very nature of co-emergence arises as the four joys.

becomes, because of the nature of the four bindus, the sixteen emptinesses are completely pure, and that nature is co-emergent wisdom. "The first joy is the hero," etc., are the four in brief; "Joy and happiness are slight," etc., are the four in detail; "The first desire to touch," etc., are the four in great detail; "Supreme joy is said to be existence," etc., are the four concluding remarks, which are solely the co-emergent wisdom possessing the nature of the sixteen emptinesses. Therefore, the three joys, such as joy, are not other than the co-emergent, because of the nature of non-difference, the co-emergent is not an object of characteristics, not the nature of grasper and grasped, and not the object of the discriminating consciousness. Therefore, it is said: Others cannot express the co-emergent, nor can it be found anywhere, by relying on the lineage of the lama, I can know it through merit. Others cannot say who it is, because the co-emergent is beyond the path of speech. Nothing can be found anywhere, because it is beyond the object of grasper and grasped. What I know is realized by myself. If asked how to realize it? "From merit" is from the accumulation of merit. Because of that reason, one should rely on the lineage of the lama. By relying on the lama, from pleasing other lamas, one can understand from the grace of the lama. Therefore, it is said that from the accumulation of merit, it is called the accumulation of wisdom. Or, what I know is to be experienced by myself, the characteristic of self-experience is co-emergent. Because one's own nature is contradictory, self-awareness is very subtle, and the co-emergent is not the object of the discriminating consciousness, which is beyond language, body, and mind. If so, how can one realize it? "From merit" is from the accumulation of merit, "Relying on the lineage of the lama," is from familiarizing oneself with the order of the lamas. Because this is separated from the five stages of manifest enlightenment, one cannot find the truth, the first is
