So! The earth is a part within the nature of Dharma-arising, called the five Dakinis, which is determined by the sound of "Yourself." The nature of the Tathagata and the Dakinis are the five aggregates. That itself is twelve, because of that. "By this is the Lord of the Ten Bhumis, the Protector is not spoken of by others." This is the nature of the five aggregates, the Tathagata and the Dakinis are pure, by this is the Lord of the Ten Bhumis, because of that, the Protector is the nature of the Lord of the Three Realms. Because of non-duality, it should be said to be neither male nor female, in order to understand the union by the activity of the nature of Nada-bound. Again, not by others, not by different natures, but by these natures of the Tathagata and the Dakinis that are not different. Or, the eyes, etc., of the Lord of the Ten Bhumis are pure, the essence of the earth, etc., is the nature of Bodhicitta, the places and nearby places, etc., are spoken of by these, not by others. The Protector is the Buddha, the Lord of beings, who is spoken of by the other eleven. Or, the Protector is Vajradhara, related to Vajrasattva, who is spoken of by the other twelve. By this, the Lord of the Ten Bhumis is the Bodhisattva. The Lord of the Eleven Bhumis is the Buddha. The Lord of the Twelve Bhumis is Vajradhara, the five pure faculties such as the eyes and the five objects such as forms, the ten and the consciousness born from both, and the eleven, and the characteristic of experiencing consciousness and the twelve, beyond that is the great Vajradhara. Or, the Lord of the Ten Bhumis is the Protector, the Protector is the form of Vajradhara Heruka, is the ten lords. The places such as Vimala, are spoken of by these Lords of the Ten Bhumis, if asked by what kind of difference of places, not by others, not by different ones, the two places are only absorbed into the Ten Bhumis. The twelve places are inseparable in nature, by the twelve such as the place and the nearby place, the twelve places themselves are the ten bhumis. In that, the Joyful and

Immaculate, Illuminating, Radiant, Extremely Difficult to Conquer, Manifest, Far-Reaching, Immovable, Good Intelligence, Cloud of Dharma, thus it is said. How is this first ground called the Extremely Joyful Ground? When one is endowed with the benefit of beings and attains transcendental wisdom, one closely embraces joy and great joy, hence it is called the Extremely Joyful Ground. Being free from the defilement of immoral discipline such as universal attachment, and closely embracing the nature of being immaculate, hence it is called the Immaculate Ground. By the power of hearing, thinking, retention, and samadhi, one radiates immeasurable light of wisdom, closely embracing this nature, hence it is called the Illuminating Ground. The nature of burning the firewood of ignorance, which is the ultimate connection of afflictions, near afflictions, and the habitual tendencies arising from universal afflictions, closely embracing this nature, hence it is called the Radiant Ground. By meditating on the factors of enlightenment, one becomes free from difficulties and attains mastery, closely embracing this nature, hence it is called the Extremely Difficult to Conquer Ground. From following after actions, those who have not manifested meditation, by making much mental effort on the signless, manifesting this nature, hence it is called the Manifest Ground. By the power of continuously making mental effort on the signless, following after the distant, closely embracing this nature, hence it is called the Far-Reaching Ground. From the signed and the signless, by the power of doubt and non-doubt, the universal afflictions, even the winds of karma and so forth cannot shake it, hence it is called the Immovable Ground. By the power of teaching the Dharma in all ways, one obtains vast intelligence free from faults, closely embracing this nature, hence it is called the Good Intelligence Ground. Like a great cloud of Dharma treasure, filling the realms of sentient beings like the sky pervading all three realms, satisfying them with the rain of Dharma, holding it as such, hence it is called the Cloud of Dharma Ground. The extremely subtle bonds of afflictions are completely severed, and by being without attachment and without obstruction, one truly understands what is to be known, closely embracing this nature.
