Thus said. Empowerment is all-encompassing, meaning purity through being free from obscurations, and being without defilement. The empowerment by the deities is the empowerment of the deities. Here, Pad means to cover. Therefore, it is the chapter on the empowerment of the deities because it takes and holds it. It should be explained, it should be thoroughly shown. In one's own heart, from one's own seed syllable, black rays of light emerge in the form of an iron hook. Invite all the Buddhas residing in the three realms, and after offering correctly with the eight mothers, one should pray. "In one's own heart" means in the heart of the deity where the wisdom mandala and the samaya mandala are inseparable, one's own seed syllable is the syllable Hūṃ. From the complete transformation of that seed syllable comes the Vajra. From the center of that emerges and spreads black rays of light in the form of an iron hook, the nature that symbolizes something like a threatening gesture. The nature that is to be symbolized, invite and summon all the Buddhas residing in the three realms. The eight mothers, the eight yoginis, offer correctly. After offering correctly with the lute mother and the flute mother, analyze them, seek their meaning, and pray. Alternatively, "in one's own heart" means when inviting into the heart after abbreviating, the yogi transforms into the nature of hatred. This means in the heart of the deity perfected by the nature of Akshobhya, from one's own seed syllable, meaning the black rays of light emerging from the Vajradhara, which is the nature of the syllable Hūṃ, is the clear light wisdom of the nature of the expanded Akshobhya. "The form of the rays of light as an iron hook," means the fifteen dakinis from the syllable Āṃ to the syllable Aṃ. For the realization of those, Aṃ is a hook. That form is the nature of Nairātmyā, and with the inseparability of Vajradhara and Nairātmyā, the inseparability of body, speech, and mind residing in the three realms is the three realms. Residing there means the Buddhas residing in their nature, like a mirror, the nature of the five wisdoms, invite and gather the five Tathāgatas. "The eight mothers" means the five like Gaurī, the five objects, and the three like Śavarī, the stone.

These are the three lords. These also produce like a mother, because grasping manifests attachment, so holding is the near cause. Both should also be purified in the form of deities, in order to be free from obscurations. Offer correctly, correctly, after offering, without manifest attachment to the senses and objects, and being able to enter well, this is called the correct offering. When praying, saying "Ya O" is following the similar, satisfying the prayer with similarity, and the nature of the protector should be increased. This indicates that there is no difference between the Tathagatas and the Dakinis, etc. So how should one pray? Therefore it is said: "A bhi shi ntsa tu mi sarba ta tha ga ta (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)", meaning in all ways, please let the Tathagatas make me the extremely pure nature of the Dharmadhatu. Or pray to grant me empowerment. Please all the Tathagatas who have attained immaculate wisdom bless me, which means Vajradhara, who is inseparable from all the Tathagatas. Those Buddhas, in the form of Heruka, should empower with vases filled with the five nectars of the nature of the five Tathagatas. The Buddhas in the form of Heruka, this is to indicate approximately, otherwise one should look at the form of the deity to be meditated upon, this is the meaning. The nature of the five Tathagatas, empower, smear and wash with vases accomplished as five nectars. Or, the nature of the five wisdoms of the Buddhas such as mirrors, etc., with the non-dual nature of the form of Heruka. Therefore, with the nature of the five wisdoms that have become the five nectars, that is the five nectars. With those vases, and Kam (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) the wisdom of bliss, and Lasha Va (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) for the sake of play, with the nature of the five vases that are one in the nature of wisdom, these five aggregates should be empowered, so as to attain the state of being free from obscurations in all ways. At the moment of such empowerment and bathing
