This is the fourth chapter called "The Meaning of Compiling All Mudras." The sound of all tantras, arising without remainder as an appearance, is omniscience itself. That is the sign of the mudra, which is the seal of all tantras. That seal is also a compilation. The nature of compilation is meaning, this is the fourth chapter called Discrimination and Examination. Together with the eleventh chapter, the compilation of the five dakinis is the fourth chapter, this is the fourth chapter of the second examination in the commentary on the Hevajra Tantra, the Extremely Immaculate Union. "This is the power of the Wrathful Vajra." As it was said, through the questioning of the Nairatmya, the nature of the Wrathful Vajra was declared. "Sixteen hands and eight faces, Four feet and a terrifying appearance, A hero adorned with a garland of skulls, The Nairatmya embraces his body." "The five mudras are the holding deities, The Nairatmya herself asked, Surrounded by sixteen, Explain my mandala, What is your mandala like? Lord, I have never known before." "Four feet and a terrifying appearance," this is for the sake of subduing the four maras. "Hero" means that he is not overcome by attackers from other sides, etc. "Adorned with a garland of skulls" means that with the nature of the five wisdoms and the three bodies, it is the nature of boundless wisdom. "After Nairatmya made a kiss, And gave the vajra skull, And pleased the breasts, The mandala was clearly revealed." He rejoices by kissing Nairatmya. He obtains supreme joy from giving the skull. Saying "and pleased the breasts," these are the joys of separation from joy. Because he makes the deities play, it is the joy of co-emergence. Thus, the nature of the four joys, the mandala is clearly revealed as it is. He makes it abide through luminosity. "The wheel, as said before, Adorned with necklaces and half-necklaces, With four corners and four doors, Adorned with vajra threads, In the center is Darikma, You and she are beautiful, Following with great desire, From the nature of co-emergent joy, The wheel, as said before." As said in the third chapter.

In short, first meditate on loving-kindness, such as "First meditate on loving-kindness," etc., meditate on the four abodes of Brahma. Afterwards, such as "Again, emptiness is enlightenment," etc., to everything said between "The fourth is writing." And everything said from "Repa first contemplates the image of the sun," etc., to "The tent should also be contemplated." Having kept all of that in mind. Afterwards, what is said in the eighth chapter, "In the realm of space, think of དྷ་ག་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning)," etc., to everything said between "How does the meditator also arise?" And in the center of it, think of the object of thought, such as "In the center of it, think of རོ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning)," etc., contemplate the eight-petaled lotus arranged in order, from ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) completely transformed into the moon and the sun. In its center is the seed syllable. The only union is the wisdom of accomplishing activities. The ultimate perfection of the image is the extremely pure Dharmadhatu wisdom, representing everything. There, in the center, is the nature of ང་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning). ང་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) is the consort, the consort is the Great Seal. "Together with you" means what is thought of from the nature of union yoga. Thus it is said: stained by great desire, from the cause of the joy of separation from joy, from the nature of co-emergent joy, from the wisdom of accomplishing activities arises the nature of the perfect image. Eight faces and four feet, adorned with sixteen hands, equally suppressing the four maras, making even the fearful ones fearful. With a garland of skulls as a necklace, residing in the sun, accompanied by music, holding various vajras on the crown of the head. The color is black, terrifying. It is said that the mandala of wisdom and the mandala of vows are the same. What is said above, such as "Sixteen hands and eight faces," etc., is the nature of the wisdom mandala, said to be the essence of wrathful vajra. Now, from the eight faces, etc., it is said to be inseparable from the vow mandala. Vajradhara is the nature of both mandalas, thus it is said. Eight faces means two sets of four. Four feet means each one. Sixteen hands with
