In this context, delight is desire. Therefore, a yogi who engages in conduct with drinks such as alcohol should not become intoxicated, because ignorance is the main cause, as it becomes a great obstacle to yoga. Thus, one should be taught. This concludes the commentary on the sixth chapter, "Conduct," from the Garland of Precious Yogas, a difficult explanation of Hevajra. Seventh: Explanation of the Chapter on Explaining Symbols and Places. A symbol is the language of barbarians, by which yoginis show the realization of symbols. It should be known that this itself is the supreme method. Therefore, from there, the chapter called "Symbols" and so on are spoken, and this chapter should also be called "The Chapter That Clarifies Symbols." Brother is a yogi. Sister is a yogini. "One finger" means the index finger, meaning "Has it come?" "Whoever" means "Who should look?" "By two" means by the index finger and the middle finger. "Showing the hanging" means showing the manner of tying the hanging with those two. "Three points" means pressing the little finger with the thumb and stretching the rest into the form of three points. "Boundary" means the boundary of the crown of the head. "Wheel" means showing the manner of the wheel. "Frown" means moving the eyebrows. "Unbinding the topknot" and so on are explanations of the direct meaning. "One finger is showing," and so on. Whatever "one finger" means the index finger, or the middle finger and the index finger, showing the lotus of wisdom, one should urge. "That itself is well come," in which "well" means semen, meaning that it is lowered by joining the fingers. "Illness mudra," and so on. The illness mudra is the thorough accomplishment of the realm of dharma of ultimate bliss, and one should know these. How is that? It is said, "From holding the left thumb," and so on. "Left" means wisdom, inside its lotus. The thumb is the vajra, so when the state of dripping is obtained, it should be squeezed. "Ring finger," and so on. The ring finger is the empowerment of the wisdom of wisdom.
