Commentary on the First Chapter Commentary on the First Chapter First, Commentary on the Chapter of the Vajra Family In Sanskrit: Yoga Ratna Mala Nama Hevajra Panjika. In Tibetan: Called "The Jewel Garland of Yoga, a Difficult Explanation of Hevajra." Homage to glorious Hevajra! Homage to Manjushri, become a youth! With a body of supreme joy, Having paid homage to Hevajra, According to the system of the previously established order, I shall write Hevajra. In the words "Thus have I heard," etc., this is the word of introduction. It is well explained in the Sutras and Tantras. This Tantra is the meaning of the essence, Others explain others. As the Blessed One said to the monks, "Gather my teachings with the words 'Thus have I heard'." Therefore, the collector should say, "Thus have I heard." Here, some say that the word "heard" indicates the collector, because knowing oneself and hearing through transmission, the collector will not become valid. To avoid these two faults, the words "Thus have I heard" are spoken, meaning that I have heard it myself, not heard it through transmission from one to another. The word "Thus" means as it has been collected. The word "Once" means only once, not always and everywhere, until here. The word "Blessed One" refers to the Vajradhara of the form of the joyous Vajra, the one who possesses the fortunes of freedom, etc., is the Blessed One. As it is said: "Freedom and beautiful form, Splendor and fame, wisdom, and Diligence, perfectly complete, Is said to possess these six." This is the meaning that has been taught. The word "Resides" means residing in the abode of the Buddha. Where does he reside? In the Vajra of body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, in the bhaga of the lotus. All of that is also, and the Tathagata is also, therefore it is all the Tathagatas. Their body, speech, and mind are the collection of the three secrets. Moreover, that Blessed One Vajradhara's body is the source of the Dharma.

I am also called "My Place." That is the lotus of Vajra Mother, because it is the undefiled Dharma, the body of immeasurable Dharma nature. Therefore, the body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas are also that, and the lotus of Vajra Mother is also that, thus making a special summary. La refers to the palace where it resides. In a place more secret than secret, the Blessed One is visualized to reside, and the assembly of attendants who are like that and follow accordingly is also explained in the previous tantra in an implied way, so it is not explained here. This is explained with a straightforward meaning. Thus I have heard, etc., the letter E (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, literal Chinese meaning: A) is spoken in the lotus, the shape of the letter Va (Tibetan: བཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Va) is remembered as Vajra, named Maya (Tibetan: མ་ཡཱ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: माया, Sanskrit Romanization: māyā, literal Chinese meaning: Illusion) is shown to be shaking, why is what is heard considered to be two? This will be explained, the Blessed One transforms into the shape of semen, remembering that happiness is attachment. Because of this, with the form body complete with Dharma and enjoyment, Vajradhara is, like the mundane self and everything, is the form body of unobstructed bliss. With the first sentence, it is the nature of emptiness and great compassion, the nature of wisdom and means, the nature of the form body complete with Dharma and enjoyment, generating the nature of the mundane and ultimate, it is the form body of the complete stage, briefly showing the meaning of the tantra. Also, He (Tibetan: ཧེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हे, Sanskrit Romanization: he, literal Chinese meaning: He) is great compassion, Vajra is said to be wisdom, the nature of means and wisdom is the tantra, I will say that, please listen. Thus it is explained. Therefore, at such a time, one time, etc. is clothing. This is said to be for true and excellent giving. Or the meaning is this, the letter A (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, literal Chinese meaning: A) should be known as earth, the action mudra is Buddha Eye, sixty-four petals in the navel, residing is the navel wheel itself. The letter Ve (Tibetan: བེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वे, Sanskrit Romanization: ve, literal Chinese meaning: Va) should be known as water, the Dharma mudra is Mamaqi Buddha Mother, on the eight petals of the lotus in the heart, the Dharma wheel resides as such. The letter Ma (Tibetan: མ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: मा, Sanskrit Romanization: mā, literal Chinese meaning: Ma) is shown as fire, the great mudra is White-clad Mother, lotus eight two petals, the enjoyment wheel resides as such. The letter Ya (Tibetan: ཡ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: या, Sanskrit Romanization: yā, literal Chinese meaning: Ya) is shown as wind, the Samaya mudra is Tara, three
